This unit was my first trial in the gimbal world. After owning this for a few months now I felt it was time to review it. I've since purchased a few other gimbals but this one remains my go-to for most situations. The 3 axis orientation makes for a very smooth image. I use this with an iPhone 8 Plus. Due to the payload capabilities of this gimbal (which is a bit higher than some other, even more popular gimbals), it's provided me with some flexibility to rig up a means to charge the iPhone while it's in active use and recording on the gimbal by using a right-angle lightning cable and a 20 gram counterweight (which I also sourced here on Amazon). Without the use of a counterweight the size of the iPhone 8 Plus was too far offset with a 90 degree angle cable plugged in to the bottom, so the counterweight solved that issue. If you don't plan to charge while recording with this gimbal then the need of a counterweight with the iPhone 8 Plus (or similarly sized phones) shouldn't be necessary. The payload max on this gimbal + iPhone 8 Plus + 20G counterweight + 90 degree charging cable still allows me to be under the payload threshold and record while charging, which is the sweet spot for me. You can charge off of the gimbal power itself using the USB A port on the handle or you can roll with a battery pack in your pocket barring you have a long enough cable. Either way is handy depending on your needs. The only thing I wish this gimbal provided was a means to adjust the tilt from a button on the gimbal itself. The tilt can only be adjusted (as far as I know) in the app, which can be a bit of a hassle if you already started recording. As a result it's important when you bust out the gimbal for use that you check the tilt (I often use a bubble meter app on my iPhone) and then go into the gimbal app to adjust tilt until the bubble meter is even, then afterwards go to town recording. The case it comes with is very nice as well. I didn't think I'd like it that much or use it but my gimbal remains either in my hand or in the case, and so far it's held up extremely well. Overall, very happy with the unit with minimal complaints.

Purchased the gimbal after hearing everyone rave on how it elevates the quality of their videos and boy where they correct. I run a dance studio and ever since I purchased this product our videos have never looked better. The stability it provides while running around the studio is unbelievable. Once you get the gimbal to balance with your phone it’s amazing. Absolutely recommend!! Must have for anyone needing to record something while moving.

After watching a video or two, I was off and running. This thing is a pretty great (cheap) camera man. I set it up in my kitchen and did some practice runs and it tracked me pretty well. There were a few times when it would lose me but that could be the phone or the app or something. I look forward to using it at my daughters recital, I even bough a mono-pod for when I'm recording for long periods of time. I did get a chance to use it at Christmas and everybody thought it was really cool, how it came to life and move the phone into the upright position. The case is pretty cool too, its a hard EVA type case.The bad: When the gimbal is turned off, it just falls limp and my phone hit the gimbal the 1st few times. It didn't cause any damage but it's a little dis-concerning. It is also hard to get my phone (oneplus 7 pro) to balance in the gimbal prior to turning it on. My phone is at the upper limits of this gimbals size capacity.Other than those couple of "issues" it's really pretty cool and i look forward to using it for all my video capturing needs ;)

I put this holder on my bike to be able to have visibility of my phone while I ride. It is easy to install and does a great job holding my phone. When I had an issue, the company handled my issue swiftly .You will be happy you chose this phone holder!

 This is my first gimbal .Got good sensors to ensure the phone is steady and comfortable. The app is a quick install and the face recognition works perfectly.Instant switch from landscape to portrait.Overall I would definitely recommend.

I worried about Image stabilization due to a YouTube review, I bought this and thinking I am taking a chance. Turned out the image stabilization worked great on my shoot of a bike ride. Images quality is also great. Can’t wait for the underwater shoot. Link to my phone works great as well.More accessories would be helpful!

This gimbal is small enough to carry in a backpack pocket without noticing it, and will improve your handheld videos. I used it for skiing footage (I was on skis too, filming others), which is a challenging environment because of vibrations and constantly changing angles. It took me some experimenting to find the right settings in the app, but once found it did the job very well. You also need to understand what the settings do and how to handle the device, so expect a little homework before you get the hang of it. In combination with built-in video stabilization on my iPhone 11, it produced very smooth footage. Held the phone securely, even with a silicone case. Happy with this product.

This is a great product. It fits in almost any air vent and has a very strong magnet to hold the phone in place. It is also very compact, making it easy to take on trips and use in rental cars. I particularly like the TWO tension knobs: one to stabilize the phone gimbal, and one to tighten the clamp on the vent.
