So much ease!
I bought 2 of these for two of my grandsons. They love to video and edit and this is excellent for them.

Good baby cam
The picture is720p but still provides good resolution to see my child in the day but also clearly enough at night. I like that that I can use the remote you can pan and tilt to get the best angle without having to manually do it. The transmission has a very good range to it. Enough to sit outside at the fireplace and drink a glass of wine. It is nice that the controls are right on the base unit versus having to scroll through the software on the base unit. I don't have additional cameras but can see how having split screen(s) could be very useful on one base which this allows. I love being able to listen to my child and being able to speak to her. The battery life lasts long which is a huge plus. It has a nice 5 in display making it big enough to see my child in without squinting my eyes. It has a 2x/4x zoom in feature if needed. It is pretty accurate with reading the temperature in the room. Also, has an adjustable night light as well.

Good video intercom/baby monitor
The Motorola Baby Monitor model VM65 is a good alternative to an audio-only monitor. In fact, I got it to replace an existing audio monitor which over time started to develop issues, like sounding warning alarms alerting us that there was no connection between the base and the remote monitor, even though the LCD display on the unit clearly indicated that the two were still linked (REALLY annoying). We don't have a baby in the house, but we do have a need for a wireless intercom system between most of the house and my office (which is in a separate building from the house). When the old unit started to get worse and worse, I looked for another audio-only solution, but then I thought it might be nice to have a video feed as well, so I got the Motorola. The base unit ("Parents unit" in baby monitor parlance) is a very attractive piece of equipment that displays a fairly clear picture from the two included camera units. There is a built-in stand on the back that folds out to allow it to stay upright on a flat surface. The monitor isn't quite as clear as I would have expected from an HD system, but the picture is sufficiently in my opinion - although somewhat posterized sometimes in subdued lighting conditions, and grainy in night vision mode. The cameras themselves are unique from what I've seen before, in that they have a detachable magnetic base. The base is magnetized both above and below, so when placed on a steel surface it holds fast, while also magnetically holding the camera in any position you choose by its stem, whether it be straight up or tilted in any direction. Nice feature! Although the base unit can be operated battery-powered, the cameras have to be plugged in, with each one having its own AC adapter. You can set the monitor to either display one camera at a time (easily selectable with a button push on the base unit), or to show the output from BOTH cameras at the same time via split-screen display. An interesting feature of the cameras is that the base unit allows you to digitally zoom in up to 2X to get a larger picture than the normal 1X wide view, but still allow viewing just as much information by panning around the frame using the arrow keys on the control unit. In my opinion, 2X is a little TOO zoomed in, and clarity suffers a bit. I use 1.2X and for me it's just right. 1.5X is available as well. The base unit can be powered either from the included AC adapter, or can be operated wirelessly with the internal rechargeable battery. If using it wirelessly, just be aware that it will need to be connected to the AC adapter for charging when the battery gets low (after about 5 hours or so). I personally just leave mine plugged in most of the time, and only unplug it occasionally. One thing I was surprised about was just how clear the audio was with this system. Since good audio was my #1 priority I was really glad to hear that, especially as I was a little concerned because I saw some online comments from folks who had a video baby monitor and were complaining how poor the audio quality was. Obviously, those people didn't have the Motorola, though, since the fidelity of the sound is even better than my old audio-only system. The wireless range for audio and video is advertised as 1000 feet, but I'm thinking that is with no obstructions between the base unit and the camera units. I live in a concrete block stucco house, with rebar reinforcement inside the blocks and steel studs in the interior walls, so my range is significantly reduced, as all these things are real signal-blockers. But it's sufficient to reach where I need it to, as long as I don't try to place the base behind even MORE metal, like behind a filing cabinet for example. There is a bit of lag in the audio and video, but it's not too bad at about a second or so.I don't mind saying that I'm happy with the system. As I said, the main priority for me was audio quality, so I think that having video capability also is just icing on the cake, even with the less-than stellar video quality. Also, I only had one Baby unit with my old system, now I have two, so I can monitor two areas at the same time!

Buy these instead of gopros
Let me tell y'all.. this camera is beyond amazing. I've had gopros and I tell y'all what I thought buying Hugh end cameras would get me better everything. Battery life, quality, audio ect.. needless to stay I've had gopros and I'll put these up against them... U would think for a price like these are you wouldn't get much for your money but I was very surprised at what I got for my money... Like I said I'll put these up against gopros.. there awesome.. now I couldn't tell u about the water resistant only reason I gave 5 starts bc if it works like the picture quality and video quality and Audio quality I'm sure the water resistant works just as well... Buy these instead of gopros... I'm serious you want be disappointed...

Great bang for the buck, extremely versatile
I run a small group of Youtube channels, as my friends and I all deeply enjoy making media of all sorts. While the main channel focuses on video games, we've been branching out to toys, board games, a little bit of travel, crafting/woodworking, art, and even hope to throw in some ghost hunting at some point. As you might guess, everything except the video games requires cameras and gopros, and every application requires something different. This one kit offers so many options and so many ways to use the equipment that we have that it feels like we can do just about anything. From getting good angles on a surface to providing hands-free carry capability so you can film and share the experience without losing focus on your own enjoyment, this kit really opens up your capabilities. I would definitely buy this again should the need arise in the future!

Third iBaby Monitor- You think we like their produ
This is our third iBaby Monitor, our other two are the m7 series. We were very excited about a portable option that would be easier for us to travel with. Set up was fairly simple, it took about 2 tries, and then it linked immediately to our existing app. We can use a split screen function to see all three cameras at once if we wanted (though we plan to use this one as a portable/travel monitor). We appreciate that it connects to our phones so that we can watch the video stream for peace of mind to check in while out to dinner or to give access to care takers to watch from their own phones, instead of carrying a separate monitor. The video quality is probably the strongest on this monitor (and it was strong already on the others). The only limitation (that exists for the non-portable/bassinet monitors in the series) is that you can not adjust the camera view remotely- this is to be expected given its purpose, but still a limitation. We are excited to use it for travel and for the bassinet until our little guy moves into his crib (and transitions to his m7 Lite monitor).

Awesome video doorbell. Too expensive.
I bought the Elite because it integrates cleanly with our new home. I had prewired the house with Cat6, including the doorbell so we were all set. The product is super-slick, and works well. My problem is with the cost. $500 is way to much, and I didn’t use half of what came in the package. I already had a POE switch for my cameras and unifi WiFi system, so I didn’t use the injector, power supply, various adapters, the two included Cat5e cables, the four extra faceplates, or the screwdriver. And it is overpackaged. The packaging is beautiful, and very well designed, but I’m left wondering if I should throw it and the unused accessories all away post-install. The only items I can really reuse are the two Ethernet cables. The doorbell itself with one faceplate could fit into a tiny box and the rest could be an install kit. Get the price down to $299 for a system integrator version and a separate install kit for $149. It’s the perfect product for new home construction, but it shouldn’t cost $500.

Pro quality system and features for a budget price
What a great product! I had it out of the box and running in about 10 minutes! I suggest doing what others suggested and hook everything up first on a table, to familiarize yourself with the wiring and also just to make sure it's all working. The firmware is pretty robust, but takes a little exploring to figure a few things out. The picture quality is great and you can fiddle with exposure and levels to optimize the picture too!The app is pretty good, but it keeps logging me out so I just have to log back in, not a big deal. The cameras are heavy, metal enclosures and seem durable. Been through a couple storms already and no issues. I wish I could lessen the brightness of the DVR lights, but aside of that it's fine. Even comes with a remote which has a lot of features, if you're not near the DVR and the also included mouse.Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and definitely recommend this system if you want a decent security package for a budget.
