Great little investment
I have never left a review before but I was so impressed with this little baby monitor. I previously purchased an expensive camera monitor that I could watch on my cell phone. I loved the idea but it was completely impractical. I could see my baby while looking at the screen but the sound quality was terrible and there was constant interference. The second I turned away from my phone it was useless. I purchased this monitor because I really stood to loose nothing considering it was only 18 bucks and I needed a practical option for night time because my daughters room is down the hall. It turned out to be the best investment. Sound quality is great and it has had no interference whatsoever. It is so easy to use and I love that you have a battery or plug in option. Batteries do seem to die quickly in the receiver, but I have it plugged in most days anyway. Save yourself the hassle and money and buy this monitor. You won't regret it.

**Update stopped working** So far, so good!
Update** The camera stopped working today. It won't turn on at all, I've tried reconnecting the cord, checked the wall outlet, but it won't turn on. Super disappointed since we only used it 4 months and it's already stopped working.I've only just unboxed this monitor and tried out but so far, I'm really impressed! I really wanted a monitor that didn't depend on my phone or wi-fi, and I love the separate unit this comes with! It's about the size of my cell phone, so easy to carry around, and it has a nice, clear picture. I also really appreciate the temperature sensor for the room! The volume is adjustable and it's really easy to hear even soft sounds, so that will also be great once my son is born. After we've used it for him, I'll come back here and update anything else as needed!

Good but not great.
I’ve found there are good things and bad things with each monitor. The good things with this is the dual screen, picture quality, and songs/white noise. The bad things are signal range and temperature readings. The temperature reading doesn’t give you a false sense of precision though, it doesn’t have odd degrees in Fahrenheit (e.g., 67, 69, or 71 degrees). It’s ok, if you’re just looking for the temperature range but if you’re looking for precision go somewhere else. The camera zooms in a decent amount as it’s default setting, so it works good for putting it up on the wall, and from there you can zoom in a little bit more. The signal range is poor. I can get down the block with my Hello Baby Monitor (only reason I got this one is because Hello Baby doesn’t have dual screen), but this one I can’t even take out the trash without losing signal.

Good voice only monitor
I originally got a security camera which could link with my phone over WIFI to act as the baby monitor. Great in theory but had some issues with it disconnecting at night so I got this to serve as backup.Pros:Good sound qualityGood rangeParental unit can be battery powered and has a convenient clip for portabilityFive bar light meter on the front of parent unit gives visual indication of noise levelsConsVolume is adjustable but the lowest setting is still pretty loud (guess I get dual use of the white noise machine haha)Parent unit eats batteries if not plugged in (less than 48 hrs, easily solved by keeping plugged in and using rechargeable ones)No back up batteries on baby unit so you're SOL during a power outage (nice to have but I think most people lose power less frequently than we do)All in all I think it's a good monitor especially not having the price tag of a lot of monitors

Wow
I think Elgato have mismarketed this product.It's supposedly come out of the world of streamers, who need a quick way to trigger different camera positions and apps like Twitch and OBS and their audio settings.However this product could really be seen as a replacement for your Windows desktop, and if it could double the number of keys - it could take over as your keyboard.Verry few of us have ever bothered customizing the hell out of out Windows shortcuts and out desktops. Microsoft tried hard to give us live tiles but because they're not on the screen all of the time and had to all fit on one page - it never got anywhere. But the StreamDeck is a revelation.My Windows PC was cluttered previously with desktop icons. apps added to the start bar, utilities to show my PC memory, temperture - I've now moved all of those to the Elgato.Now I have buttons in front of me 24/7 with short cuts to top websites, to my favourite apps.Fantastic

Our Seizure Stress Savior!
I bought this 20 months ago and it finally went out. It would no longer hold a charge, which is understandable since I never turn it off. I'm going to buy another one right away. I gave it 4 stars because the directional button sticks, so I'd have to push it a few times to get the camera to move. In an emergency, that's annoying. Both of my young boys have a seizure disorder. The most common place a seizure brings death is in bed (if the individual is face down during a grand maul, they can suffocate when their body is rebooting.) I believe this product has helped save my boys lives 3 times when they had a night time seizure. Other than that, it's caught several seizure events during the day. Before this system I would jump at every sound, now my stress is decreased significantly because I can see exactly what's going on!

Yaaaass!!!
I absolutely love our monitor system. I first purchased it in 2017 and subsequently was gifted another camera for our second child that was born. We use the scan view for both of our children’s rooms so we can keep an eye on both of them. The range is pretty good. We are able to go outside and still get great range.Recently our monitor stopped functioning and began to freeze up without cause. I emailed customer service about our concern and asked if we would need to buy a new monitor. To my great surprise, even though we were two years out of warranty, customer support went ahead and replaced our monitor for FREE, with the 2019 monitor!! They also gave us expedited two day shipping on our monitor, which is quite difficult right now with COVID. When I talk about great customer service...WOW!! Wonderful company and great products!

Big Difference
The media could not be loaded.
I’ve been using this mic for my virtual lessons. It works great! It really helps to hone in on just my voice and not really picking up extra sounds. I normally turn off the A/C before I record but it was so hot under those lights, I guess I forgot to the other day. When I finished recording 30 minutes worth of solar system lessons, I realized my mistake. I was terrified to play it back because I didn’t want to hear the whirring and have to do it over. It was barely noticeable at all! So I’m very pleased. I’ve been using this mic consistently for about two months now. The length of the cord makes me so happy! I don’t have to worry about being right up on the camera/phone. I also love that it comes with four mic covers, and an extra mic clip. Very pleased with this product.
