Apart from the drifting, it works GREAT.
At least when using a GoPro (Hero 7 in my case) this thing is majorly flawed in terms of design. GoPro batteries have to be changed a lot so the fact that the gimbal let's you power devices was a huge bonus. Only, when the GoPro is attached the all of the ports are blocked so you can't power a GoPro from the Gimbal. The next issue is how the GoPro mounts. You have to loosen to screws (no screw driver needed at least) to pull off a U shaped bit of plastic and then tighten in down to clamp the GoPro in. This means that every battery change on the GoPro requires loosening the screws and popping the plastic clamp off. It's a hassle when you realize how quickly GoPros go through batteries. In terms of quality, it's a pretty nice unit and does a great job at keeping the horizon nice and straight (we do a lot of Beach videos on our LookIntoHawaii YouTube channel). Only complaint when using it, which is a minor one, is that sometimes the GoPro hits the Gimbal at certain angles (extreme angles to be fair).I just don't understand why they didn't come up with a better clamping system for GoPros...well, I do, it's because they wanted a universal design. Maybe we'll 3D print a better mounting system for it and see if that works better.

Affordable and excellent quality
Got this and had a chance to use it over the weekend to record a few videos of installing a CB radio. Low light isn't an issue and all the mounting options that come with it make for multiple mounting placements at once possible. That way you can move the camera from mount to mount without having to fiddle with placement every time. Have plans for using it for a dash cam as well. Very pleased. One thing that I did run into when editing the video: I'm shooting in 1080 @60fps and I've got LED lights in the shop. There is some noticeable flicker from the lights. I think this is pretty normal for 60hz LED lights shooting at that frame rate. I'm going to try to shoot in 4K @25fps to see if that gets rid of the flicker. There is not a shutter speed adjustment on these, which would be a nice addition.Update 3-25-2019: Didn't seen to have an option for 4K @ 25fps, but when EIS is on there is a noticeable reduction in flicker from the LED lights.

Very good flash for a great price
I am a portrait/wedding professional, our full time studio does a lot of weddings and that is what we use this flash for. We have a couple Canon 580 flash unites that work great but being a cheep guy I am always looking for something for less. I have a couple of Nissan flash unites dedicated to Canon but have found that they have a terrible auto focus assist lights. With the Nissan there just about useless in dark lighting where the camera can't auto focus itself. With the Sigma EF-610 it is just the opposite, auto focus assist is as good or better then the Canon 580.. Battery usage is very good, accuracy of exposure is also good. Only problem I would note is that you can't see the little diagram that tells you how to put the batteries in very well, especial in low light. I would recommend this flash as a replacement for the Canon 580 at just about half the price. I am going to get another one.

Great Value for the price
This is the second AKASO product I have been using. Compare to my last Camera Brave 4, this V50X is just beyond my expectation. Still now I can’t complain for the price. For the expectation I have to consider the price point also. Design and build is much better than Brave 4. Unlike Brave 4, it does not feels and looks cheap. Auto White balance is much better than before.Pros:- Good design and build- Comes with 2 batteries- Loop recording is seamless- Better white balanceCons: I would expect improvement in- Application is slow when opening gallery and play.- Selected setting should be in the first place whenever user need to change any setting.- Image stabilization can be improved, to make it steady video whatever the compeation it does, some time it visible in the video. It feels stretching image. I have notice it in little low light situation- Touch sensitivity is not upto the mark.

Good enough for the price, perfectly fits my needs
The media could not be loaded.

Picked this up for an affordable action cam to take on snorkel and kayak trips as well as record live performances with the band. Works well enough for my needs and the price. Waterproof case has held up with no issues underwater. Unfortunately, the events of 2020 have been a been downer on travel and band plans. I've attached a quick compilation video of the last studio session I recorded. The video has been compressed significantly from the source. Sound quality is okay, about as good as you would expect from a cell phone recording video. Expect poorer quality sound if recording with the waterproof case attached. A good utility camera that doesn't break the budget gets the job done. Perfect for situations where using my much more expensive cell phone would be problematic. The app works well and is a nice feature for recording yourself remotely.12/25/20: Updated to 5 stars for the great customer service from Akaso.

A Great Portable and Affordable Flash Add On
I purchased the 270EX as an add on to my recently purchased Canon SX-1, which is a must if you've read some of the criticisms of the SX1 (poor low light performance, but great video, and RAW capability). As an on Flash it works great, it doesn't have all the bells and whistles that the more expensive Canon Speedlites do, but it does have Slow Synchro, telephoto, bounce, and 2nd Curtain ability. I also added the

Zeikos ZE-HD270 Hard Flash Diffuser for Canon 270EX Flash

flash diffuser which I find useful under some situations, but in my experience so far (and I'm not a seasoned photographer) I get more mileage out using the Bounce flash feature without the Flash Diffuser attached. I believe the main appeal for this Flash add on is it portable size (it doesn't look huge when attached to a non-SLR Camera like the SX1 or G11), and its affordable price.

Caught the thief
Something was eating ALL my cherry tomatoes and I mean all. This plant had at least 20-30 tomatoes on it one day and zip the next. Talk about anger. I knew what I had to do. I opened the Amazon app and found this camera and I have to say, after comparing it with others, I am so happy I bought this one. I found the thief. I assumed it was a chipmunk but wanted to catch him red handed and voila! It came with four batteries so that is all I installed. The battery life is amazing, used it for a month and the batteries are still going! The picture quality is outstanding, motion detector is very sensitive, night vision is perfection. The menus are a tad difficult to scroll through but no biggie once you figure it out. I mounted it to a board so I can move it around my deck, yard or wherever I need to spy.I highly recommend and would purchase again in a minute.

More than "nice" for the money
I've spent my life as a pro imager, but now retired I' have to think anew about what I'd once have dropped big bucks into without a 2nd thought. Especially equipment that is secondary to me, such as the rather exciting GoPro type camera systems.I'd tried true 'cheapo' copies and found their image quality not adequate for any serious work. Thus my pleasure in the Akaso Brave 4. It comes well equipped with all the accessories I could want (and more), but most of all its the Brave 4's image quality. No, not likely quite up there with a GoPro that sells for 6, 8 or more times as much, but really pretty good. And its menu systems -- something foreign still to an older guy like me used to old-style dials and switches -- at least is navigable. That so much capability is available in such a small package and at such a reasonable price is to me a wonder. -A wonder I enjoy.Recommended? And how!

Nice picture Quality and Easy to Setup
Shipped in one day, boxed nicely. Easy set up, even for someone less than "tech savy" like myself. I have 4 installed and all operate smoothly on my android. One thing I'm struggling with is lag time with the motion detection. I can walk half to three quarters way around my car before the motion detection kicks in. So, if there were an actual car thief, I might only catch the car exiting the driveway, in lieu of the person gaining entry. Thus 4 instead of 5 stars. I will play with camera position and see if this resolves the lag issue. Update: been up 1 week. Still a bit of lag time in recording but overall I like the ease of use. Still wish lag in recording wasnt an issue. (Update: after 2 years of outdoor use...still alarming, recording and playing back. Figure they would be dead by now. Nope. Changed my stars to 5 based on that and customer service I received recently)
