I looked a variety of "best camera" reviews on line - finally decided to give this one a try - largely based on price & good reviews. Especially surprised by low cost relative to many others. Took just a couple minutes to set it up and confirm it was working. Excellent picture - surprised/pleased by clarity in relatively low light. One issue was that there was a continuous flickering in background of the image... so I went to the website & read the FAQ's, etc. Nothing there so I sent an email to their support - wondering how long that would take. Totally amazed that I got a reply in 25 minutes. Support suggested I turn off the lights in the room.... when I turned off the overhead, 3 bulb fixture... voila - problem solved. Other lights in the room were fine. At any rate - after one day, I am really pleased with this purchase. 2 wks later: Contacted company support regarding the flickering. Got suggestion/direction on how to change the frequency - 50 to 60 hz. Completely resolved the flickering for all lighting conditions. Definitely 5 star in my experience.

 I have this camera now for a week - I don't expect the same Quality lie i am getting from stitching pictures together with my Nikon D810 but i wanted to use it for a Quick panoramic picture.It is not easy to connect it to the phone first - once you figured out the trick it is still a little bit aggrevating … but this is the problem more of my Apple IOS system than a Nikon problem.The Software is not that Stable but I am sure that Nikon is also finding a solution - I rather have an now unstable software than waiting an other 5 month.The software is missing Bracketing on the picture side …. for nowthe stitching is working when there is nothing close by and it doesn’t seem to have a good internal gyro for pictures regarding the HorizonAll in all it is a fun thing to work with and i will test it more during the next weeks.I participated in a color run …. result - my D810 - 40 min cleaning - Keynote …. one dump into the water …. donethe dust on the air was everywhere and it compromised the lenses

This kit is a great value and has a lot of different mounts. The head mount is very comfortable and one of the mounts I use the most. It is quick to put on and allows for hands free filming. It is also easy to stuff into my pocket. I don't use the chest harness too much. I found it to it snuggly to my body. I don't feel like it would stretch over a bulky winter coat very well if I wanted to use it in the winter time. The snug fit will keep the camera in place while you are moving around though.The suction cup mount has a strong hold. It is easy to mount and remove. Just make sure you window is clean or it might have a harder time holding on.The selfy stick is pretty sturdy and light weight. It extends pretty far so you can get more than just you in the shot if you want. All in all I am pleased with the price and all that comes with this kit. I would recommend this kit.

When I saw this camera, I immediately fell in love with the Minion like design and even more after I saw the specs. This was, what I always wanted, but how does it hold up to the promises? Just awesome. Connecting it to the smartphone (Android) was super easy with the QR code from the manual. Can't get any easier and worked at first attempt. I first placed it outside with the magnet holder, but I think it's better for inside and outside I recommend to use the sturdy tripod mount.After about 2 weeks of usage the battery is still at 80% and footage is saved to the micro sd card very reliable. Didn't have to use the cloud service, which is not free anyway.Footage day and night are awesome. During the night I have activated automatic IR support, which works great. and illuminates my whole back of my home.Two way communication is very clear. Mic and speaker work very well.I think it's perfect for monitoring and serves the purpose with well priced.

I initially started out with a Rebel XTi. That was WAY too small and tiny....poorly constructed... not recommended for field use due to too much plastic. Then I upgraded to the 30D (40D wasn't out yet). The 30D was great...no complaints, really. Once the 40D came out, I said "What the heck!"...traded up for the 40D. That was a great decision and there's been no looking back. The new features in the 40D are significantly noticeable. The Auto ISO is really helpful in daytime shooting.I do a lot of long exposure night photography and the 40D really excels here. The 3 custom settings on the dial are heaven sent.My only complaint about the 40D is that you can no longer delete all pictures by clicking the "trash" button twice. You have to go into the menu and reformat the card. The trash button in playback mode only lets you delete an individual photo. It's not that big of a deal, though.If you're having any reservations about this camera....set them aside and get it... it's worth every penny.

These cameras work and they pick up motion at my front and back doors. I like that I don't need a subscription service too utilize seeing recordings of who is/was at my door. There are only two things that I don't like. One is when you go into the app too see recorded videos they automatically start playing and they're really really loud. I wish there was an option to turn autoplay off.The second thing I wish would be a little better was the amount of time the app takes to open after getting the alert that there's motion at your door. There's a bit of an uncomfortable delay. There's already a delay in getting the notification that someone's at your door and then there's even more of a delay to open the app. I just wish it was a little faster to respond.Other than that it's a pretty good camera, everything was easy to set up and didn't break the bank. I also like that I didn't need to integrate it with my doorbell like so many others.

I purchased this to help mainly with my nightclub and event photography. The flash is great! I love it, the buttons are simple, it fits on my hotshoe securely, and I love how durable it's been. (Though I haven't tried to break it!)A couple of things though, not bad, just be prepared!The flash will refresh slowly if your batteries aren't fresh and full, and I MEAN SLOWLY. Buy a large pack of fresh high-end batteries and keep them with you. I use Energizer rechargeables. (Seriously, I don't care how good of a deal the cheapos are, you'll regret it. )There is no AF-Assist Light. That's the little red light that helps you focus in the dark. For some of you that may not matter, but when shooting weddings and nightclubs sometimes the venues were dark and then my camera wouldn't fire AT ALL. It sucks to not be about to get any photos, or to have to pull out my phone, run on the flashlight app, and flash in someone's eyes and make them pose for 90 seconds!

I have a 7 and 5 year old. We took this on our vacation to Florida this past summer. I've been singing the praises of this little gem to friends and family. It's great out of the package. The video itself isn't te greatest, but who cares for young kids. They just laugh seeing themselves on video. The waterproof case worked great. We took it into the ocean and I was up close with some fish and sandollars in about 5-6 feet of water and it held up nice. Back at the pool it was more fun, but we basically left it on the entire time, threw it in the pool and whoever got it took video and pics. Some priceless shots. Just using a standalone camera is fun too. It does come with a few cheesy games on it, so that worked out well when we were standing in line for our airplane boarding passes - kept them entertained for a few minutes at least. Buy the case for it too. Nice way to secure everything in a central hub and keep the paperwork and charging cords. Battery holds up well for a long time!
