THIS, is an amazing manual flash!!!For the price, I am very impressed!Build is plastic but it feels solid and that can help with longevity.The tilt and swivel feature is smooth, not that heavy clicking you get with others flashes.At its lowest power you can do high burst modes, very useful for speed photography and athigh power its bright. I believe it puts about 200ws which is decent for a speed-flash. Acceptable refresh times at max power as well.It works with standard shoe mounts so good for any modern camera. I use the Sony cameras- a7s, a58 and it works like a charm.Cons, this is a manual flash so no TTL You will need to meter your exposure for that. However, its simple enough to use for guessing that.Haven't seen how long this flash will last as I recently got it. Will post an update in the future with durability. But initial look and feel of it seems solid to last a long time.Conclusion, I will buy more of these flashes as they are a steal for the quality of light.The built in diffuse is okay but get a better dome version. I use it with a white umbrella for studio work.

We specifically were looking for a nursery monitor that wouldn't be over the internet for security reasons. We're very happy with how well this monitor lets us keep an eye on our baby while she sleeps. The night vision keeps her visible even when it's completely dark in the nursery and the zoom is good enough that we can place the camera across the room to keep cords out of reach and still see her well. We did have an issue where vertical bands appeared on the screen and worsened anytime we opened the menu. Customer service was very helpful in sending us a new monitor and we were even able to receive the new one before sending the old one, which was super valuable to us since we have been using the temperature gauge on the monitor extensively to adjust space heaters due to the super low temperatures lately and the poor insulation in our home. We also occasionally have the monitor cut out if it's right next to something using the internet but that is easily remedied by moving the monitor slightly.

I kept my 20D and bought this one for my granddaughter for college graduation. She was getting the most beautiful, gorgeous pictures with it. Somehow she learned how to use completely manual settings. Probably the most useful, practical thing she learned for all the expense of college (has a good career now but could have started with her talent and hs grad). Was starting to do weddings. Stunning color. Well as progress would have it, she may have sold it and not told me but is using her iphone now.It's still a wonderful camera, works really well with the 28-135 which is not L glass but has a nice range. Works well with L glass, too.The only reason I'm bothering to write this now is that of all the cameras we have had, this one takes the most stunning pictures I've seen, works well with the hot shoe flash, even today it's probably less complicated to operate than the newer ones. The higher resolution is what makes for better image quality than my 20D.The only downside now is that it won't do video.

I found the product excellent for my specific requirements - videoconferencing illumination on my 27" iMac. Plenty of illumination with ability to change colour temperature and brightness. Reasonably robust build. The suction-cup mount is OK, but I used the supplied supplementary adhesive disks as this is a permanent set-up. Initially I had one unit mounted directly above the screen, but bought a second and mounted the units to the sides of the screen (avoids glare when looking into the camera and reduces shadows). Correctly positioned this arrangement also allows the units to be folded away out of sight when not in use. Generally only needed to use around 25% brightness which allows around 2.5 hours use on a single charge (but they will also operate while charging via USB).With the adhesive discs the mounts have stayed firmly attached to the matt silver curved iMac housing, but if you want to use them regularly on a laptop for short periods while mobile then you'll have to rely on the suction cups, which need a flat, smooth surface. If I was doing this I'd look for a clip-on mount from SmallRig or similar.

Is this a replacement to a $575 top of the line flash? NO, but evaluating it for value and quality as an external slave flash it's excellent for the money. Plastic is hardy and feels well made and the metal shoe was a welcome surprise. It's a manual only flash so you have to know how to set it up and your camera as well. But hook it up to a couple of inexpensive radio slaves and add some Gary Fong accessories and you have an excellent lightweight portable "studio" lighting kit when you don't want to haul your set of 3 alienbees, softbox, stripbank, grid a and vagabond battery kits to a hard to reach location shoot. (which I also own and is exactly why I purchased these)If you want one of these to save $ on a top of the line Sony or Canon flash... just save up the coins, this isn't what these are for. If you need an inexpensive slave flash to lighten your lighting kit though these are a great flash for the price and every bit as well made as my old Vivitar 285HV slave flashes I used back in the film days with my Hasselblads.

My wife and I resisted video monitors for 7 years. We thought we didn’t need all the bells and whistles and the old fashion audio monitor was enough..boy were we wrong. We love these monitors , we are spoiled now and could never go back to a basic monitor.We have a baby in 1 room And our 3 older boys (3,6,8) share another room. We keep a camera in each room so we can see and hear whats going on.Pros- Good picture- Good audio- Nice night light feature- Love the temperature feature to monitor temp of the kids rooms- Great video monitor that has clear picture, zoom feature, easy to use and several other features- Love that you can rotate and move cameras remotely from monitorCons- A mounting kit should be included or the base made to hook on wall or something. You need these somewhat far from child to see clearly and have good view. We had to put 1 on top of a box on top of a dresser so we could get a clear view of entire crib and baby.

Quality VS price ratio is the beat buy I did in these two years. I bought this easy installed home security sys for my office. I was surprised how easy it is to install, just plug and play also App ready for download to view on phone anywhere. Videos are clear day and night modes also the recorded sound is clear too. The sys adds an extra layer of monitoring while sound can also be recorded too. So, people’s conversation is also in your record. My office is monitored 24/7. If the sys comes with a sticker advising people they and voice are on camera would be great, so I didn’t need to make the sign myself. After all, the excellent customer service is the most impressive to me. They are responsive and patient also professional. I just got lazy reading through the manual to learn some basic features, to my surprise, they responded to me with detailed instructions. Very nice rep taking call and text message. I am very satisfied for the purchase, and would like to share my experience.

I was on the fence about buying this film, luckily I jumped off onto the right side. I read some of the reviews and was worried that Gosford Park might be "boring," "drawn-out," "pointless," or many of the other negative comments that people posted about it. However, NONE of those words apply. I was COMPLETELY ENGROSSED with this film and was very happy I bought it. The move is not about a murder, catching a killer, or any of the other aspects typical of a murder-mystery. Instead, its a fascinating look at the British social class in the early 30's. That may sound slightly boring, but it was far from it. Gosford is chalk full of humor, sexual tension, witty lines, and a twisting plot. Aside from that, the movie is BEAUTIFULLY shot. Watching it on my widescreen HD TV, I couldn't help but feel pulled into the gorgeous colors captured by the skillful and fluid movements of the camera. Overall, Gosford Park is an excellent film that I would recommend without hesitation. That said, this film might not be for you if you are looking for a short action packed flick or thrillingly mysterious movie. Gosford, instead, is a scenic and stunning look at Britain in the 1930's. FIVE STARS!!
