Great value for the price
I intend to use this telescope for shooting night skys and deep space. This is my first telescope of any kind. I am just getting into astro photography. While I am a pro photographer I have only recently grown into the night sky. I bought this telescope for two reasons, price point (I didn't want to pay an arm and a leg for something I may not stay interested in. Second was the great reviews it got. I don't pay a lot of attention to negative reviews, as the individuals giving them have not read the instructions or didn't do their research before buying something. I got this telescope today in great condition. It was easy to put together and my first time out with it was nothing short of amazing. I don't have pictures with it yet, so I will be updating this review later. I am waiting on the adapter for my DSLR camera to get in next week. When I get it I will go to a dark sky spot and get some photographs with this telescope and report back to you. If they are as good I as I expect this telescope will be worth every dime I spent on it. More later. I saw things on the surface of the moon tonight I have never seen before. WOW!!!!

Used to Mount on a Snowboard
I bought this to mount on my snowboard, and it is very good! You have to stick it on there when the board isn't wet, but once it's on, it stays on. I have gone 45mph on some runs, done several black diamonds, and it feels like it's glued to the board. Temperatures ranged from 25 degrees F to 10 degrees F, and we'll be out there for 4-6 hours at a time, both day and night riding. It is low profile, so you will see a good amount of your board, but I wanted this configuration to reduce drag and shake. Not much for image stabilization, but still better than my taller mounts; I didn't expect to get much from this product, my camera handled that. Very pleased with the product to date.Pros: - Sticks very well to a snowboard - Was very good at around and possibly below 10 degrees F - Easy to put on and take off - Sturdy construction/materials - low profile helps reduce shake and dragCons: - low profile means more of your board will be in the video, like 1/3 of the screen. Possibly angle it up a bit more to reduce this. - Won't reapply if surface is wet, but that's the case with all suction products like these. This review is only from my experience, which is snowboarding. I can't vouch for any other uses. I hope this review has helped you in making your decision!

Incredibly powerful speed light, especially for th
The media could not be loaded.
I‘ve been a photographer for over 20 years, I balance my photography between taking photos with speedlights, strobes, and natural lighting. Currently I use a Sony Alpha 7Riii and own the speedlight HVLF60RM, so wanted to use this Godox Speedlight as a Master / Slave unit. I also tested it out as a master flash, using my Sony camera, as well as the Sony wireless radio system. Below are a few of the results:- This speedlight is an incredibly powerful piece of equipment to use either as a primary or secondary speedlight, it has all the usual controls the speedlights have, TTL, M, Multi, making it an amazing asset for any photographer, especially for the value of its price.- It has a rechargeable battery, which is great as I don’t need to spend additional money on batteries (nor rechargeable batteries). I plugged it in and it took around 3 - 4 hours to fully charge.- The color gels are a fantastic bonus, gives me space to be creative and achieve a different fun look only by using them. See the quick multicolor video of the photos I took with each of the included color filter gels.- The included bracket for the speedlight is also a big plus as it can be used to hold the speedlight remotely when taking photos.- Was able to use the Godox as a slave, it’s easy to sync with my Sony flash, and provides flexibility during the shoot to move the remote flash in different positions for different looks (flat lighting, contour lighting, side lighting, backlit, etc). I connected it both optically and wirelessly.- I liked how the background color changes, when it’s used as a Master it goes green, and when it's used as a slave a bright orange lights up the background, plus a big “slave” word pops up on screen.- I synced the Godox Speedlight with my sony radio system and was compatible, after I tested it, if it’s left idle for over 2m30s the sync might disconnect, and its a quick fix to just reconnect it.- It's very similar in weight to the Sony HVLF60RM Flash.- Had fun taking photos with the Multi Stroboscopic Flash giving me a unique and different way of taking photos, and providing a space to experiment with multiple images in one frame. Take a look at my uploaded photos.- Easy to use, and the manual has the instructions to follow for each of the settings.- Also sharing some of my set-up photos. The photos I uploaded are all unprocessed straight out RAW photos (no edits have been made) taken with:Camera Sony Alpha A7riiiLens Sony G OSS 24-105 mm f4Leave a thumbs up if this information was helpful!Happy shooting :)

Surprising value for the money! A must have for ph
After doing some research on ring lights I chose the EOTO brand because of the quality and all the extras you get. I didn’t want anything cheaply made. First of all this is professional quality at a good price. The 19” ring light is a perfect size for portraits and videos. Would be great for you tube videos! Everyone just looks better under this light! Eyes are brighter, skin looks healthy, teeth are whiter. It makes you look more vibrant and healthy! Even my older dog looked fantastic! What more could you ask for?!It has a touch screen control and display, a color temperature control, white - natural - and warm lights for different settings. You can dim the lights or make them brighter. The Lamp Life is 3 years which is important. It was easy to set up with easy instructions. There are 3 iphone holders or you can use your regular or a professional camera. The tri-pod is sturdy and well made. There are 2 USB ports so you can charge your phone or other accessories. The best part is it has a carrying case so you can take it anywhere! Really looking forward to creating some professional looking photos and videos. So happy I purchased this one. You can’t beat the value for your money. I highly recommend.

Great Flash!
This may just be the "honeymoon" syndrome but the same day I got this flash, it was pressed into action only minutes later. I am an intermediate level photographer and, occassionally, I work events as the primary photographer. In this particular instance, I was working an event and actually had to unbox the flash at the event after swinging by my home to pick it up off the porch. As such, I never got the chance to play or fiddle around with it beforehand... and it performed wonderfully! First off, the flash is manual (meaning you can't program it via your camera controls), has 8 flash intensities, and runs on 4 regular aklaline batteries. I'd read that this flash can burn through batteries in as little as 100 flashes so I came prepared with Energizer Ultimate Lithiums. I took well over 300 pictures and the LED indicator still shows a full charge so I would advise the use of lithium batteries. I will make an effort to update this review once the flash actually manages to kill the batteries.Secondly, the flash is easy to use and has a manual mode (flashes when your normal flash would) as well as a slave 1 and slave 2 mode which is a pretty good bargain for a flash costing less than $40. I haven't had a chance to test the slave functions yet but, again, I will make an effort to update when I do. Other than that, the flash also has a built-in diffuser and reflector. The material and build is very plasticky but solid and when compared side by side, this flash is obviously of lesser quality than more expensive flashes. Even so, it does not feel cheap or likely to break easily. The hot seat saddle screws down firmly and the swivel/tilting head functions well. I have read that on some units the tilt function is not as sturdy as it should be I have not observed that myself though I suppose there are bound to be some bad apples in the bunch. In any case, if you can get past the lack of automatic camera controls, this flash is great for beginner to intermediate use. It is even serviceable on the professional level depending on the job being done (my shoot was a professional one for a large corporate sponsored birthday party) and I intend to retain it as a backup when I do get a more expensive flash. And though I had never really heard of this brand before I purchased this flash (though I did research it thoroughly once I came across it), I would recommend this product to others and will even look at some of their more expensive flashes based on the performance, quality, and feature set! I doubt you will find a better, more useable flash for under $50 and maybe even under $80!

If you want to know the truth please read
Okay, here's the (long winded) truth about the flash and it's "thermal shutdown problem".First off, let me say that I have much experience in using different camera flashes and studio strobes as well as some repairing of them. I will start of by saying that this flash is the best portable camera flash in it's class that I have EVER used. Nikon knows what they are doing. They have an extremely high standard of quality and reliability. When they see a quality improvement / guarantee need, they will apply it. In the case of the SB-800 to the SB-900 one of the biggest and least appreciated quality assurance guarantees is the thermal cut off feature. Which, by the way, can be turned off or on. So all of those who are b****ing about it, just read your manual and turn it off!Okay, time for a cheesy quote: "With great power comes great responsibility". Nikon knew this. (speculation) They also knew the general public would not really understand the limitations of the flash in hand. So they incorporated a safety mechanism: "Thermal cut off", to prevent overheating due to extended maximum flash output. This sort of "circuit breaker" is also found in some pro studio strobes. Studio strobes usually use AC power and provide a much greater power output and are more likely to overheat and sometimes "blow out", so it is common to see some kind of safety mech built in to them. Portable camera flashes run off batteries and do not produce any where near the kind of power output than said strobes; so there is usually no critical need for such a safety. With the SB-900 however (and SB-800), Nikon has managed to build a very compact flash (yes, I mean compact if you consider it's power capability) that recharges very quickly and sustains a consistent powerful output. To do this, it requires a huge demand on the IGBT (like a capacitor) and sustained overheating would result in failure and eventually even damage to the flash. Of course they could have "pushed it" and programmed it to trigger at a much higher temp threshold or even eliminated the option all together. But it is good to have that feature. It's not that the flash overheats "easily", it's that the flash is offering more than maybe it should. With that much more power, comes that much more heat. (Especially from a compact unit without any cooling fans)Now for my silly analogy: "It's like the difference between driving a car that only goes 65mph (other flashes) and driving car that goes 100mph (SB-900 / 800). With the 65mph car, you can't get a speeding ticket (overheat / failure) on the freeway with the speed limit of 65mph. With the 100mph car you won't get a ticket either, until you start driving 100mph for an extended period of time on the same freeway. Then you will likely be stopped for speeding. Then, having a radar detector (thermal cut off feature) will warn you when a cop is around the corner and that you should slow down from 100mph to 65mph. You may ask yourself: why that speed limit? Of course, safety: limitations of the car and driver. Then you may ask: why make a car that goes 100mph if it is not safe to go that fast? (here is where my analogy doesn't follow exactly, but you get my point) You may have a need to go 100mph and it is good to have the ability. Often it may be fine to do so. Just know you are running the risks."If you really need to turn off the thermal feature and shoot at max output consistently, chances are it will function just fine. Yes, it will get hot, yes your batteries will drain faster, and yes you will wait longer for each subsequent recharge but nothing major will happen: because it's designed to do that and it's a Nikon made in Japan. Just know this: Nikon or not, all electronics still have to follow the basic laws of physics. It's not ultimately good for the IGBT and circuitry to sustain such powerful flash firing as some do. You run the risk of degradation and failure. I've seen it happen, albeit rare.Basically, you should feel confident about the performance and reliability of this flash. It doesn't get any better...yet.
