This Gimbal is by far the best one I have ever used.1- It is incredibly smooth. The footage taken with it have just about no shaking at all. The only movement in the camera is the movement that you introduce, with pans/tilts or tracking/dolly type movements. It completely stabilizes the footage and makes it look incredibly2- It is VERY VERY powerful. I use it with the Samsung s8+, which is already pretty heavy, and I throw on a moment 58mm lens, case, and a Ride videomic mini in the audio port; the gimbal manages to hold it all absolutely steady and doesn't struggle under the weight of any of it.3- It is incredibly customizable. The default settings are fine, and I ended up using them, but you can adjust the sensitivity, smoothness, speed and acceleration of the control stick via the the computer software, which is very easy to use, and the app that's free in the appstore.4- The 5 modes are very versatile and altogether, they encompass pretty much anything you would need to do with a gimbal or stabilizer.5- The battery life is INCREDIBLY long; I used it almost all day to test out the features and it was only showing me halfway on the battery monitor

Strong magnet, sturdy base!
I use this stand with an iPhone 13 (naked for now), and it's great. The base is a weighted plastic, the neck is metal, and the magnet is strong with a soft rubberized texture for a light but decisive snap against the phone. The ball joint moves very smoothly with little resistance, but also firmly holds the position you set with no sag.I've used this for a week now, and it's great. I can charge my phone without setting it on it's side, which has been great for video chat programs that don't auto orient when you change the phones angle (looking at you WhatsApp). It's also easy to move, so I can just grab the stand as I travel around my house and set it in the new location. I can also rotate the phone while it's on the stand very fluidly. The only complaint is that the product listing pictures claims it has 360 degree rotation. I knew this wasn't true when I bought it. It has a vertical rotation of approximately 80 degrees, and a horizontal rotation of about 20 degrees; the horizontal rotation limit is not an issue since the whole stand can be lifted and rotated with ease as well, essentially enabling 360 degree rotation on this axis. I'd knock a half star maybe for the misleading claims, but I don't think it was intentional. This product is very solid, especially for the price. The design is aesthetically pleasing as well. The only way to improve it is to make the neck flexible to allow for more vertical rotation (to allow for the front facing camera to look down), but I think it will serve excellently for most use cases. No stars taken off, as my complaints are very minor and specific.

I'm pretty impressed with this ring light!
I didn't know that I needed a Ring Light until I got a chance to use one of my friends for some low light macro shooting. So I found this model on Amazon, and after checking out the features and reviews, I figured that I had to order it, and I'm pretty happy that I did.First impressions were that this was a pretty feature-packed light with easy to use manual controls, an app for more versatility, two cold shoe mounts, and even an option to use NP-F550 batteries. The carrying case is sturdy and has a cut-out for the light itself and an interior spot to keep the power cord and any mounts you might want to toss in there. The light stand is as sturdy as most light stands; if you're planning on putting heavy primes on your camera, you may want to reconfigure how you're mounting so you can distribute weight properly. In use, I snapped a few photos of myself and my wife (mine were poorly done as the photographer AND subject). Then I figured I'd take a few snaps of my little desktop buddy with varied lighting options and colors.I plan to use this over the next few weeks, and I might update this review, but for the few hours I've been playing with, I think it was a great buy! One additional benefit for LED lighting is that it is plenty bright and doesn't make everyone in the room sweat like the old CFL and similar lights! Buy this; you won't regret it!

Works with Otter + Pop Symmetry Case
I have an iPhone 11 Pro with an Otterbox Symmetry Popsocket case. I used a magnet that came with this mount ***INSIDE*** the case and it WORKS!Because I read so many reviews saying that magnetic mounts don’t work with OtterBox cases (perhaps heavier models) I purchased a brand new magnetic case, but it left the side glass exposed so I knew it was going back. I also read that magnets can damage the camera lenses and since the magnetic case was supposedly Apple Approved, I tested it to locate the placement of the magnets (one up top one on bottom) and placed mine inside the otterbox accordingly. There’s 2 rectangular and 2 round magnets included with the mount. If you have a similar case, it’ll be obvious that the rectangular magnet goes at the bottom below the Popsocket. (Which I didn’t use) The circular magnet should be placed at the bottom corner of the lense cutout. Because this is the only magnet I used and it’s at the top and off to one side, the phone tends to sit a little sideways if you don’t place it just right, but it’s easily adjusted and it DOES NOT fall off.I can’t vouch for wireless charging, I’m not a fan so I don’t bother, but I hope this clears up some head scratching for someone out there. As for magnetic car mounts, what a difference! I’ve been using the clip in style for years and they’re clumsy, time consuming and tend to have a short shelf life. I’ve broken more than I can count. I can’t believe I didn’t know these existed lol. I love it!!

Extraordinary customer service
The Infant Optics monitor does exactly what you need it to do, no more no less. It isn't the fanciest monitor out there, nor does it have the best picture, but it's exactly what you need from a monitor--it's dependable and easy to use. Should you be looking for a reliable product that works as intended, it is a solid choice. However, if you want some "wow" factor, Infant Optics will wow you with its customer service. We beat the heck out of our monitor, dropping it many times in the middle of the night. The incident that did it in was a full tumble down the stairs. It knocked the antenna clean off. Amazingly it still worked, just with slightly limited range. I tried soldering on a wifi antenna to see if that would help. It helped a bit, but we ended up breaking that off too. A bit frustrated, and with another baby on the way, we were facing a choice between buying a whole new monitoring setup, or working with what we had with the purchase of an additional camera. I reached out to their customer service department and they said that they would try to find a way to help us. I accidentally forgot to respond for over a month, and after finally I got around to responding, they were still willing to work with me. They sent us a new receiver (the part with the screen) free of charge, including shipping, and even sent the new unit before receiving the broken one, so we only had to go a couple of days without a monitor. They were courteous and easy to work with the whole way. It was literally the best customer service I've ever experienced.

Great for beginners, however...
I am a beginner and had looked into telescopes that I could get as much bang for the $$ with a budget of ~$500 so I bought the Celestron NexStar 130 SLT to get started. Here are my pro's & con's so far.NOTE: I also purchased a 2x Barlow, AC adapter, and Moon filterPRO's:-Great for beginners-Easy assembly-Easy to use-Comes with eye pieces (EP's) that are good enough for lunar (Moon) viewing.-Auto tracking works great as long as you align the scope with objects that are far apart.-Can purchase an AC adapter to eliminate the usage of batteries.-Can purchase multiple up-gradable equipment the could for different viewing scenarios i.e. EP's, Barlows, Wifi adapter, smartphone holders, camera holders, etc.CON's:-This telescope is very sensitive to light pollution so make sure that you will be using away from big cities.-Its super steady while tracking but vibrates for about 1-2 seconds after touching (focusing the EP).-Not very good for Deep Space Objects (DPO's).-The x307 magnification of this scope can't fully be utilized mostly due to atmospheric conditions is what I've heard from experienced astronomers. I've used at x144 and it's already tough to view objects (they look hazy) and now debating on purchasing an EP to try the higher magnification.All-in-all: great beginner telescope, be prepared to purchase more things for it to view more distant objects. If you could spend a little more go with a higher aperture scope (this is a 130mm)

Has been very reliable.
I bought this Akaso V50 Pro several months ago. Use it primarily while riding my motorcycles. ( Both on, and off road ) It's easy to control while riding, if I use my bare fingers. Gloves are difficult to get consistent results.Only feature I wish it had, is provision for external mike. I mount it on chin bar of my helmet, without the weather case. It will pick up my voice, with the built in mike, that way. Not a big deal, as I seldom ride in the rain. If using the protective case, the internal mike would not pick up my voice. Sound quality is acceptable. The noise reduction works good if I ride below 40 MPH. In normal wind it works good to. Image stabilization also works good. I can walk, hand holding the camera, and get nice stable video.Video quality is good filming 1080p. 4K is even better, but I don't have software, or computer power to edit that high resolution, so I don't film 4K often. It can be powered from my bike using a USB cable wired to my bike's power. If used on internal battery, I just turn it on when filming, and turn it off until next time I want to film. The second battery is nice to have in reserve.I have an old GoPro Hero-2 with remote back pack, and have used that for several years. It sometimes just stops recording, or gets temperamental. I have not been able to feel confident using it. The Akaso V50 Pro has always performed great for me in the field.

Great flash for the price.
Wanting to expand my strobist setup for a reasonable price, I considered purchasing one of the following: Yongnuo YN-560, YN-460ii, or the Neewer TT560. In this price bracket, features are typically few and far between. Price is the main consideration. At less than $40, the TT560 is slightly cheaper than the YN-460ii for the same basic features, and considerably less expensive than the more advanced YN-560. Because this flash will be used exclusively for an extremely budget-friendly, no-frills, manual off-camera flash setup, I chose the TT560 on price alone (Nevertheless, I still checked reviews prior to purchasing to ensure that I wasn't throwing money away). For the money, this flash is worthy of a 5-star rating. Obviously at this price, there is no TTL capability (I have SB-700's for my TTL needs). The flash seems relatively well made, includes a PC port and optical trigger, and is attached to a metal shoe to boot (pun intended).I must qualify this review however, as I've only had the flash for a couple of days. I don't expect it to last forever, but considering I could buy eight of these for the price one Nikon SB-700, it wouldn't be the end of the world if it only lasted a year or so. That said, if this flash decides to check out in the next month or so, I will amend my review to include my utter disappointment. But for now, I think this flash is brilliant. It's definitely a bright spot in an expensive market segment. This is easily a shining example of how performance doesn't necessarily have to come at a high price.

excellent customer service
Recently the monitor unit stopped charging consistently due to a poor connection between the charging cord and the micro-usb port on the monitor. I contacted infantoptics and even though the unit was 10 months out of warranty, they wanted to provide excellent service and replaced my monitor unit for free. This is definitely excellent service and I am grateful that they do care about their customers. The agent handling the matter also was able to add on expedited shipping. Overall, from the time I contacted the company to receiving the new monitor was less than a week and they were extremely responsive with all the email communication. The instructions were also very clear on how to send in the defective monitor and set up the new one. Because of their excellent service, I highly recommend if you are considering buying this monitor. The only complaint we have about this product is that sometimes the signal would go in/out even though we always kept it in the same bedroom in the same location, which is just down the hallway from the baby's room, and we did troubleshoot following all troubleshooting tips in the manual and also made sure no interference was in the way, but the signal drops continue. The signal drops are generally short in duration and last just a few minutes, but it can be concerning if it doesn't recover right away. Otherwise, the camera quality, resolution, and general functions work well and are easy to operate. Oh, I should mention, the monitor brightness is rather bright, so we would have to shut off the monitor or flip it over at night, but maybe others are not bothered by this.
