An overall, fun experience!
My goodness, this is a great gimbal. I have the Zhiyun smooth 3 and it has been my go-to for a couple years. I’ve tried the dji osmo mobile 2 and the smooth 4. I preferred the smooth 3 over those, and I got some great shots using it...but it is big and bulky and I find myself leaving it behind more often than not.Enter the Zhiyun Smooth Q2.I cannot express how compact this gimbal is compared to others. Before this was released I picked up the DJI Osmo Mobile 3 because of its fold-down function. It still felt big and I haven’t been able to bring it everywhere I want. I returned it and decided to give the smoothQ2 a chance. This thing actually fits in my pocket comfortably. It does everything I’ve loved about the smooth 3 and in a simpler fashion. It has a robust build without feeling bulky. If you are on the fence about getting this or another compact gimbal, give this one a chance. The app could use some work, but the product itself is the best there is for a phone.

"bang for the buck", no complaints here. Easy to
So I bought the Akaso V50 Elite, with big plans to bring it with me to Austria to record my visiting of relatives and otherwise goofing around. Austria has plenty of stuff thats worth recording while goofing around. And this little mini cam woulda been perfect for this purpose had the dreaded plague not come around. My Lufthansa tickets? For May 15. Refundable? Reschedulable? Since we’re all grounded, who knows. But I’m not trying to get a refund or exchange on my little Akaso. Since everyone’s grounded with nothing to do, my little Akaso has been busy recording my goofing around the house, in the garage aka "the lab"and other stuff. The waterproof case is also parrot proof, so far.You don’t gotta blow a couple grand to get to other side of the planet to shoot video. I’m shooting video of me as myself and me as someone else, and me doing things that ….This little camera may help me stay sane, relatively sane, through this dreaded virus. Who knows, it may keep me home and out of trouble long enough to survive. As long as I’m very careful who sees my creations after this all blows over, I should be alright.I love the “one frame per second video rate, it’s a kick in britches, like Benny Hill used to do (British Comedy).Yeah, I’m having fun with my little V50 Akaso Elite. The perfect toy for the time.I recommended it, bang for the buck, and please stay healthy and happy.

Very good inexpensive action cam
I have been looking for an inexpensive action cam to mount on my small, very wet, high performance sailboat and this Akaso EK7000 Pro seemed to fit the bill. After about half a dozen outings, it's proven to be just what I wanted and I am very happy with my purchase.Pros--------The kit comes with a very wide variety of mounting options. I have used two of them and both have worked well. Overall, I was amazed by the completeness of the kit.The video quality is very good. I use the 2.7k/30fps setting and it's all I could want.On each outing, I've seen battery life of almost exactly one hour at that 2.7k setting. Not bad. Having two batteries in the package is a real plus. It's very simple to use. The manual is rudimentary but sufficient.Cons--------Photo quality at the highest resolution is not very good. Even at the 16mp setting, the photos are not even close to what I get using my ancient iPhone 6.Image stabilization does work but it (not surprisingly) does produces noticeable blurring. The good news is that even on my sailboat, which moves around a LOT, it's not necessary. The date/time reverts to 6/1/2019 whenever you swap batteries. It's a pain to have to reset it every time.Warnings--------If you put the microSD card into your computer to delete files, be warned that simply deleting them does NOT free up space on the card -- you must also empty the Trash, at least on an Apple computer. The far simpler way to make room on the card is to put it into the camera, go to Settings and format the card to wipe it clean.

Good product for the price point
This is my first night vision monocular, so I don't really know what to expect. It took a while sitting in the dark turning things and pushing buttons to get the hang of it, but it's more effective than I expected. This isn't just just an IR LED and a camera chip like a kid's toy, though I think it does work that way to some extent. The range really is hundreds of feet, focused and bright, but it also just works well in low light. Even things that are way too far out to be illuminated are still more visible than to the naked eye. It's even pretty good at seeing stars that otherwise aren't quite visible. In the light, it shows in full color with the filter cap. In the dark it's monochrome. If it's monochrome, I wish there were an option to put it in something like a red scheme. It's rough on the night vision to look into this bright little tube. It doesn't put out a lot of light pollution though, so it can be a way to look around your camp at night without waking up the family, for example. It'll focus on anything less than about four feet away, so it's possible to do something like look where you're walking, but it's got such tunnel vision that you'll end up with your toe taking up half the screen. It's comfortable to hold, but tiring after a while. There is a standard tripod mount and some other connection points. The buttons are generally well placed and quiet but I keep hitting the picture button by mistake. It seems like a good product at this price point. Not fancy, but not junky.

Updated Review: Great product and customer service
Original review: I like anything with multi-function and purpose! The brightness options are out of this world, I have actually used it at 5% in certain areas bc it was bright enough and 85% in darker lighting. Getting to control the kelvin/temperature is the best part IMO. I'm a photographer, so lighting and tones are important, and I've even used this for a makeshift photo-booth for a friend. You can attach a DSLR camera or 3 smartphones (2 flexible phone holders with a clamp or one regular clamp as photographed. This gives you the capability of charging your phone through the USB ports so your phone doesn't die. If you're on the fence, but you like multi-purpose/function, this is a very impressive ring light. Other ring lights online were smaller, had less options for mounting, and for some reason mounted phones too far behind the light, creating a white haze around people's videos. This light doesn't do that!I have 2 ring lights so if you want to see the quality in reels, I use one for my page @claystonephotos and the other for work @lifechoicesnclaLater review: I only knocked off one star because the light went out after 2 months on one of them, but I think it was just a freak thing because my other light is fine. I filled out the free 18 month warranty the company sent with the first item and they have been super kind and helpful to rectify the situation. They offered a refund or a replacement, and being that it is a great product, I chose the replacement. I really did research so many ring lights and this one knocks others out of the park in size, quality, and customer service. If the new replacement they send lasts 6+ months then I'll be adding the 5th star back!

Easy to set up and use, though you have to be clos
The media could not be loaded.
This is my second trail cam; I got this one hoping it would be easier to access photos since it had built-in WiFi.First off, it is really easy to use. The photos and video above are all from the highest-resolution settings, but are basically the configuration out of the box. As you can see, I found out who's been visiting my pond and annoying my dogs in the middle of the night!Using a dedicated app, I was able to connect to the cam, but only when I was within about 15 feet. I suppose that's OK if it's just sitting outside of a tent or something and you want to monitor remotely and look at footage without getting out of your tent or camper. I found it easier simply to pop the memory card out and read it directly, especially when downloading bulk images and video. As you can see, it stamps environmental and date/time information into the files: this is a setting you can customize. As for performance, the resolution is great, even in low-light/IR setting, and the video capture is responsive. I couldn't upload more than one video (Amazon limitation) but the daylight camera capture at 30 FPS was very good too.Hopefully now I'll be able to see who's been fishing at my pond! All I know so far is that we have one resident cat, one resident skunk, and 2/3 of our dogs like wandering around at skunk-time.I hope you find this review helpful - if so please let me know!

USB plug in comes with long cord so it can be left
The unit is plug and play, plug into computer USB or into outlet USB or outlet USB wiht the block adapter. The cord that it comes with is very log so it can be used left handed or right handed. The lighted edge is cool and it is adjsuted by placing your finger ont he little glowing finger print circle in the top left (or bottom right) corner. This setting changes it from color to color and even a strobing and fading color change setting. The charger feature works well with my phone and its big lenses. Sometimes my phoen will not work with this type of wireless charging platform as the camera lenses prevent it from laying flat. not on this charger as the charge pad is raised about 1/8 inch above the mouse pad poriton allowing the phones charge part to be on the pads charger with the phones lenses hanging over the edge of the raised charge pad and hovering above the mouse pad.The mouse slides smoothly and not isues with mouse operation. This is a good mouse pad and would be a grat gift for yourself, your loved one or anyone who used a desk top computer. You do not have to be a gamer to enjoy a modern space aged light on a mouse pad. You do not have to be a gamer to enjoy the large expanded mouse pad. You do n ot have to be a bamer to enjoy the wireless charger. If your older your children or grand children will think you are cool or hip or groovy for using this mouse pad.I like it as it breaks up the darkness in my office at night when I work late and do not want the bright overhead or desk light on. Even though this is new to me I am extremely happy with it and expect it to last for years to come.

Works great for devices that are not "smart" yet.
I have a Power Pet electronic dog door that allows you to turn on and off the inside and outside sensors via push button. This has been a problem for me because I work evening shift and my beagle will be outside howling at, well anything, late at night before I can get home to keep her in the house. With the SwitchBot I can remotely turn off the inside sensor via a schedule I have setup on the SwitchBot app, and then the next time she comes in she can't go back outside. This has been a great comfort to me and my neighbors. The picture shows four of them on the panel. I also have one to control the outside sensor so that I can keep her out. The other two control a single function to keep the door open all of the time. To do that you have to hold the power button and then push the door open button. I was able to put a 10 second switch hold on the power button so that it keeps the button pressed while the SwitchBot on the door open button operates. I have a security camera pointed at the dog door so that I can verify via the LED lights, that I have the sensors on the correct setting since there is no way to tell if they are on or off, not the fault of SwitchBot. The only minor problem I had with one of the buttons is that it requires a bit of a soft touch, and SwitchBot was pushing too hard for it to work. To solve this I took the extra adhesive pad that was included and doubled them up so it stood the SwitchBot off a bit more from the panel. I then got some of those soft rubber buttons with adhesive on one side that you use on the inside of cabinet doors to keep them from banging, and put one of those on the button. That worked nicely.
