Nice camera but a little overpriced
I decided to give this a try after several months of using - and really enjoying - my Feiyu G6 gimbal with a GoPro attached. I love the G6 but I liked the idea of an all in one solution, an action camera built into a gimbal that requires less set up.First off, yeah, it works very well. The camera is excellent, and my wife especially loves the face tracking. It runs incredibly smoothly, and as a technically inept person I find the camera very intuitive to use. In fact that's what first attracted me to the Pocket 2. I always struggled to mount and balance my GoPro on a gimbal as I have the technical skills and spatial reasoning of a brick, so it makes it much easier to use a built in camera. Here's the problem, though. The Pocket 2 is touted as an action camera, but for me it doesn't quite meet the criteria. An action camera needs to be waterproof, or at least highly water resistant, and with a standalone action camera that's usually a standard feature. Your gimbal may not be waterproof, but if you need to get in the water you can detach your camera temporarily. The Pocket 2, however, is not waterproof. Not even close. The handle has several ports into which water could flow freely, so you're not going to want to get this thing wet. That limits the uses of this camera to dry land, which feels a little restrictive. If you don't think you'll ever need to take surface or underwater shots with your camera I'd say this is a very attractive option. It's well built and easy to use, and the output is excellent. If you need a true action camera, though, I'd recommend a GoPro or similar with a standalone gimbal.

Schärfe super! Performance? Naja.....
Ebenso in allen Fällen Offenblende.

First Rate After Service from a Conscientious Supp
I purchased this light as a Christmas present for my daughter who posts on Social Media. The light arrived 2 days before Christmas and the package had been badly damaged during transit and some key components were missing as a result. That was the beginning of my bad experience. At first I contacted Amazon directly and I have to be honest Amazon were, to say the least extremely unhelpful and following a number of contacts the only solution they offered me was that I had to post the item back to them before they would even offer a refund. This would have been extremely inconvenient for me as I would have had to try and source new packaging and pay for postage etc which given the size and weight of the item I reckon would not have been cheap. And more importantly, this would not help me with my Christmas Present situation, but Amazon didn't seem to care. That was my bad experience which I solely put down to Amazon Corporate and not the actual seller. At this stage I felt quite bitter and let down but then I noticed that I could contact the seller (Eoto Light Store) directly and this was the beginning of my Good Experience, to be honest 'Good' doesn't do them justice, 'Great' or 'Excellent' experience would be a better more accurate description.I contacted Eoto Light Store directly on Christmas Eve afternoon more in Hope and Desperation than in Expectation and explained my situation. Amazingly, within 2 hours I had received a reply from Kevin at Eoto Light Store who was most apologetic and understanding and looking to help. I explained my experience with Amazon and how the only option they offered me was to return the item and the difficulties that presented for me. I explained that I wasn't looking for a refund or for a full replacement, I would have been happy to just be sent the missing parts, that way I could give my daughter her present and simply explain that the missing parts would be sent seperately. Kevin agreed to this without question and was most helpful. (please note that Kevin even sent me a message on Christmas Day). Then the following day, 26th December, Kevin messaged me advising me that he had arranged for a completely brand new light to be sent to me in Ireland from France, the original had been dispatched from the UK. This replacement has now arrived, fully intact with all components. Thank You Kevin and Eoto Light Store for absolutely first rate customer service. You have far far exceeded my expectations. As for the light itself, I am no expert on these products but I know my daughter is over the moon with her new Ring Light. She has had several ring lights in the past and none of them came anywhere close to this light. It feels like a quality product just by looking and handling it and it does everything it says on the tin. It is extremely bright when set at its highest setting but can be dimmed or brightened according to your needs. The type of light can also be adjusted from natural to extremely white, as I have said, I'm no expert on this but my daughter showed me the various adjustments and both she and I were impressed. The tripod stand is sturdy and appears fairly well balanced and there are fittings to hold upto 3 mobile phones or a camera. There are also two remote controls, one for the light and one to control the phone to take pictures. So in summary, the light including accessories has matched or exceeded my expectations. The courier service on the first occasion did not. Amazon Corporate certainly did not. But Eoto Light Store absolutely exceeded my expectations and I could not recommend them more highly.A great Ring Light from a First Rate Supplier.Stars out of Five: I'd give them an Eight if I could. The media could not be loaded.
Absolute Kaufempfehlung!

Wonderful scope for the amateur astronomer that re
I have owned several scopes over the years: a Meade ETX-90, an Orion 6" DOB, and a Zhumell 10" DOB (which I returned - read on). When I recently renewed my passion for astronomy earlier this year (2010), I started pulling out my little ETX-90 on a regular basis. Unfortunately, the aperture size and long focal length really limited my viewing to Saturn. I decided it was time to go for something with a bit more power. I bought the 10" DOB I mentioned above. It wasn't passed than the third trip outside, precariously carrying the OTA (Optical Tube Assembly) while "butting" the door open and avoiding hitting my dining room table, that I decided I needed to return that monstrosity for something more portable (by the way, it was a wonderful scope! If you can store it where moving it isn't a problem, it'll do the job!).Enter the Celestron NexStar 6SE.When the scope arrived, I opened the box and pulled out the parts. Having watched the instructional video on how to assemble the item earlier in the day, I didn't even need to look at the directions to get it put together. The tripod was solid and had little play. The OTA was easy to "drop" onto the pins on the tripod, and then I only needed to lock down the three knobbed screws to mount the scope completely. I did need to align the viewfinder, which was easy enough by lining up on Venus.I had forgotten how much I liked the GOTO system (my old ETX-90's mount had long ago stopped functioning). For the 6SE, I used the NexStar alignment method on my first attempt, which simply required 3 bright objects in the sky - I did not need to know what the objects were (you will, however, have to enter some other info like your latitude and longitude, time zone, date and time. Your latitude and longitude is easily found online). It was now time for the first viewing. I selected my old standby, Saturn. The scope slewed very quickly to the object, even going back and forth a bit to account for any play in the gears. When I looked through the low powered eye piece (25mm), Saturn was just left of center (likely my fault on the initial alignment). I then manually centered the planet and replaced my eye piece with a higher powered piece - a 9mm lens. All I can say is wow. I live a few miles from the Pittsburgh International Airport, so light pollution is a real problem for me. But, Saturn came in as crisp as I have ever seen it, and 4 of her moons were very easily discernible. However, planetary viewing isn't so difficult with even the most basic scope. I decided to try a few more difficult targets. I could see that The Big Dipper was out, so I typed in M51 - The Whirlpool Galaxy. After a few quick moments of slewing, I took to the eyepiece again (back to the 25mm, btw), and there were two "eyes" looking at me (M51 is actually two galaxies). Of course with bad seeing conditions and a 6" scope, I could not make out any of the "arms" of the galaxy, but I could easily see the telltale fuzzy eyes. I was quite surprised I was able to resolve them that easily with the smaller aperture on this scope! I don't remember my old 6" DOB having that easy of a time, but maybe that was due to the GOTO capability of this item.Next, I turned my attention to M81 and M82, two other galaxies very close to The Dipper. They came in great, with M82 showing off its profile nicely even with my (relatively) bad seeing conditions. Finally, I hit M3, which is a brilliant globular star cluster. The cluster was a wonderful view in this scope. Switching to a higher power eye piece caused many stars to shimmer in and out of view - it was jaw dropping.Anyway, I wanted to point out that, if you need a portable scope that is capable of showing you some wonderful astronomical sights, this scope fits the bill. Although another reviewer is right in that the stock eye pieces aren't incredible (nor are any other stock pieces!), you would certainly be happy with this scope for the occasional "quick" viewing session. Heck, put a few additional dollars (well, a few hundred!) down for some better eye pieces, and you'll be thrilled for years to come! One final note: due to the design of the Schmidt Cassegrain scope, you are almost required to buy a dew shield, unless you live in Phoenix or some other really dry area. Here in the northeast, my scope fogged up very quickly. I was able to build a temporary dew shield with some black construction paper that worked fine, but that's no long term solution. Astronomy is certainly not a cheap hobby!Overall, I am very pleased with this scope. And, unless you are more than casually into this hobby, I think you will be, too.

Fantastico! Preciso fluido e molto curato

Beautiful, Bright Star Images!
The SkyMasters arrived carefully packed and collimated. One negative I noted is the narrow neckstrap included. It's much too small for a pair of binos this size, and I'm sure it would leave a "rope burn" on the back of my neck if I use it. To correct this, I removed the MUCH BEEFIER strap from my old Jason 10 x 50s and attached it to the new SkyMasters. Problem solved. The other negative is the flimsy, nylon carrying case. I would prefer to have a hard carrying case to help prevent the binos from being bumped out of collimation during storage and transit. For this reason alone, I considered giving the SkyMasters four out of five stars, but this issue isn't related to the performance of the product itself. Many reviewers have commented on the weight of the SkyMasters. Yes, they are definitely heavier than my 10 x 50s, but I expected them to be much heavier. They are surprisingly easy to hand-hold. Those folks who have difficulty with the weight, may find it easier to hold the barrels near the objective lens to distribute the weight evenly. My first night using them outside was a real treat as I did a quick star test to determine star color accuracy and brightness. I looked at three of my favorite stars - Deneb, Sadr and Mirfak. I swing the binos up to the northwest and check out first-magnitude Deneb (1,425 light years away), in the constellation Cygnus. It's a rare, A2Ia (white-hot supergiant) star about 108 - 114 times the size of our sun, shining with an astounding luminosity of 54,400 suns!!! It marks the top of the Northern Cross in Cygnus. If Deneb was put in place of our sun right this moment, earth would be roasted instantly!! Through the SkyMasters, Deneb appears as a brilliantly-bright, sharply-focused, white point of light! Magnificent!Just below Deneb, in the same constellation, I scan down to mid-second-magnitude Sadr (1,830 light years distant), an F8Iab (yellow-white-hot supergiant) star nearly the same color and temperature as our sun, but an enormous 183 times larger, shining with a fierce luminosity of 60,000 suns!!! The SkyMasters reveal Sadr's beautiful, light yellow hue. Stunning! Now, I swing over to the northeast and up to check out second-magnitude Mirfak (590 light years away), the brightest star in the constellation Perseus. It's an F5Ib (yellow-white-hot supergiant), 62 times the size of our sun and 5,000 times brighter. Mirfak appears similar in brightness and color to the yellowish-white light of a car headlight seen about 1/2 mile in the distance by the unaided eye. Impressive!Since the bright, first-magnitude star, Capella, is nearby in the constellation Auriga, I pan over a short distance to the left. Actually, Capella is a binary star system consisting of a G8III (yellow-orange-hot giant) and G0III (yellow-hot giant) star in very close mutual orbit around each other. The combined light of both stars is similar in brightness to the yellowish-white light of a car headlight seen about 1/4 mile in the distance by the unaided eye. Very bright, indeed! To really appreciate the light-gathering ability of the Celestrons, first look at your favorite stars with your old binos. Then, view them through the SkyMasters. The star brightness from 50mm to 70mm aperture is substantial, and is enhanced by the SkyMaster's BAK-4 prisms. What I once thought was bright with my Jason 10 x 50s with lower-quality BK-7 prisms, now is dim compared to the SkyMasters! The SkyMaster's 4.4-degree field of view can make it a bit challenging to locate a star, unless you're familiar with the constellations, and know the location of the star and its color. I found that aiming the SkyMasters in the general direction of the star, placing them to your eyes and raising them up a little higher will place the star in the field of view. The center focus dial and right diopter eyepiece rotate smoothly through their full range of motion, and are easy to turn, even with winter gloves on. I didn't detect any tightness or looseness in either dial.Because of their weight and higher magnification, there is a considerable amount of "star dancing" when viewing a star with the SkyMasters. This annoyance is much more pronounced than it is with my 10 x 50s. Previous reviewers have touched upon this as well, and have remedied the problem with a tripod. I'm still trying to find other ways (if there are any) of steadying the SkyMasters, short of purchasing a tripod. I want to maximize the SkyMaster's "ultimate portability," by swinging them from one area of the sky to another rapidly, to compare star colors and brightness, without having to move and re-station a tripod over and over again. There you have it, the biggest advantage of the SkyMasters - ultimate portability! I've had two telscopes in the past, but got rid of them both. Wasting time setting up the scope, fishing around trying to locate a star, then seeing a fuzzy "blob" with one eye closed once I did find the star, wasn't fun. Let's not forget having to tear down the scope and store it away! More time wasted. Now, if I want to check out a few of my favorite stars after supper on a winter night - no problem! Just throw on a parka, hat and gloves, grab the Skymasters and step out in the back yard for a quick view. Ahh, Wezen sure looks beautiful tonight!
