My son loves his telescope
My husband and son use an app on my husband's phone to identify stars and planets in the sky. This was the natural progression for us, since my son is so interested in what is in outer space. We love it. We have never had a telescope and this one was very easy to use. You don't need to be a pro at all to use it.

Fun and easy science project!
We did the solar system for one of my daughters science lessons during her first grade year! She absolutely loved learning about the different planets and other things that surround us in our little solar system. This was a fun little project to end the lessons on!

A cool treat for young science enthusiast!
I like this gift set for its unique 3-D quality. It easy to do if given to an older kid. I gave it to a cute 4 year old girl but she has difficulty painting the teeny tiny planets. However, she got overjoyed when she put the assembled, painted solar system in the dark and found it glowing in the dark!

Keep out of reach of small strong children
My 11 yr old loves her telescope! So did my 2 yr old! Daddy has another project on his honey-do list!It worked great and had excellent distance! We watched the stars and the planets and enjoyed our summer evenings...until one night little bam-bam decided he needed a club and broke the pin! It is fixable with a well placed screw...but item is not child-proof!

Great tele low price. All you need to enjoy the co
Great quality for an amateur astronomer. A little online research and you're on your way. Great quality images of distant planets. Only problem is I lost 2 screws to the tube mount and cannot for the life of me contact the seller or find the replacement screws. Probably just me though. I love it!

Excellent beginner telescope
We bought this as a Christmas gift for our whole family, & finally set it up last night. I thought a couple of pieces were missing at first, & the instructions weren’t the most user friendly… but I kept reading & studying them, & set things up just fine in the end. We took it on our back deck & proceeded to oooh & ahhh over the moons seas & craters. Then we spied Jupiter. We couldn’t see its red spot or color bands, but we squealed to see 4 of its moons. We went on to look at the Pleiades, Mars (reddish dot), Sirius (light blue dot), Andromeda Galaxy (faint white smudge), and the Orion Nebula (white smudge). We & our kids (ages 13, 11, & 6.5) we’re totally in awe and excited to explore the skies afresh with our new telescope. That said, I am very interested in buying a new eyepiece (as many other reviewers suggested) that would zoom us in enough to see color on the planets. Would love recommendations for that!

Just Wow!
Bought for my husband for his birthday. I thought really nothing other than maybe it’ll be pretty basic quality for the price. But I’m pretty blown away at the quality , him and my three-year-old daughter have an amazing time looking at the stars and the moon and the planets it’s pretty high-tech for the prize I’m very very pleased and so is he.

Great for beginners, easy to observe solar objects
It was awsome for this period when Saturn and Jupiter were in proxima maximus, i must say i have enjoyed a couple of nights the company of these 2 great planets and the moon. I am now enjoying the sight of Mars and the MoonEasy to calibrate and to transport, great "object follow" function, it looks an acts solid and professional.RecomandationNumber of lenses should be increased in the original packaging with the sacrifice of increasing a bit the price as in order to enjoy the full quality and power of the telescope you need more than just 2 eyepieces.
