Much better than I remembered
I was really disappointed in this when it first came out, as were most people. It just seemed flat and dumb. But I've just re-watched all four Indiana Jones movies back to back, and I must say that it's actually pretty good. And interestingly, I see that most of the elements that I faulted it for were amply present in the predecessors. I think that what happened was that in the twenty years in between the Last Crusade and the Crystal Skull we forgot that these were all campy, tongue in cheek tributes to B movies. The original Raiders was every bit as awesome as I'd remembered, and the Temple of Doom was every bit as terrible. But I was surprised that the Last Crusade, while still excellent, really wasn't as good as I'd remembered. The last two IJ films now seem to be of comparable quality, with similar strengths and weaknesses.Unlike the Temple of Doom, this very much feels like an Indiana Jones film. Indy goes off on a quest through exotic terrain to locate some mystical object, combats cartoon totalitarian adversaries, who are ultimately foiled not by Jones himself, but by their own failure to treat the mystical object with the respect, humility and appreciation that it deserves. Along the way, we have many ridiculous and absurd but fun adventures. The tone is lighthearted and self-aware. There's plenty of humor along with the action.Crystal Skull also continues a nice vein started in the Last Crusade: the fairy tale formula of the hero becoming a better person by completing their quest. In the Last Crusade, it was mostly his father who had the epiphany. But in Crystal Skull for the first time we see Indy truly appreciating the mystical artifact for its own sake and isn't simply on a treasure hunt. Although he doesn't quite realize it, he's on a spiritual journey, guided by his friend Ox, played by the always excellent John Hurt. He recognizes the Skull as having purpose, and rather than attempting to extract it so that it can be put in a museum, his quest is to return it to its rightful place so that it can perform its function. In retrospect, the Indy from that amazing opening scene in Raiders is little different from the dead Spanish Conquistadors in this movie. He's older and wiser now. When I first saw this, my reaction was that Ford was just too old to play Indy. But I see now that it's a different character. And it makes me really hope that they go through with the plans to make one final installment. Ten years later we ought to have Indy as Obi-Wan.The movie certainly has its faults. The atomic blast refrigerator bouncing across the desert was a little too hard to swallow, and the CGI was distracting. Karen Allen was good but a little under-utilized. The McCarthyist subplot seemed out of step with the tone of rest of the movie, and I felt that it was pasted on to counter-balance having Communists as villains. Mutt was introduced a bit too casually. And all of the protagonists become much too passive as the climax of the quest approaches. But all in all, it's a good romp. Nowhere near the energy and impact of the original Raiders, but it holds its own against all of the sequels.

Feels like I'm at the track.
All I can say is wow!! There are times I have to look around the room to see if I'm still there and not sitting in a race car on the track. The sensitivity is amazing that when I am racing and my car starts to fishtail, I almost feel like I'm moving sideways myself. You feel every bump imaginable. I did a lot of research before ordering the Logitech and compared this to the Thrustmaster racing wheel. My brother has the Thrustmaster and I was impressed the moment I tried it but I decided to go with the Logitech because of the price difference. Well, that is the only difference I can see, the Logitech is as responsive and maybe even more so. You won't be disappointed.

YES, Wish i had this as a kid!!!
The steering while a bit small feels great in the hand. The force feedback and resistance is next level. I also love the stiff pedals, especial the heavy clutch feel. Like an original Mustang Boss. Great product love it, gives new life to my racing game experience.
