Linux compatible. Love the loud sound, sturdiness and quick charge
No issues on Linux Mint 19.3 (none expected but as a Linux user, I add this for those newer transitioning users who might have questions). It's sturdy so it won't break (this was the reason I bought this - a similar product snapped in half).Nice loud sound. I cannot stress this enough. I bought a similar product (before it snapped in half) and it was fairly good but occasionally I needed to pump up the volume to overcome an AC or other ambient noise and it was never quite enough. This unit fits my use case perfectly! Also, many laptops simply don't have the loudness spec checked off. They'll brag about surround sound or some pseudo-nonsense tech, but fail to deliver on much needed decibels. If that wasn't bad enough, they'll hide their speakers underneath the laptop instead of finding a way to provide front-firing speakers. This neck headphone solves this long standing issue. You get loud rich sound while at the same time, minimizing any noise you might create for anyone else - since the speakers are right next to your ears. Unlike traditional headphones, you aren't blocking external sounds - so you can always hear a phone ring, a knock on the door, etc. Also charges fairly quickly. I never timed it but seems to recharge in 10 minutes for several hours of play.
