I don't like buying products that look like the AKASO on amazon. They are usually knock off type products and have a janky interface. This product is 1/3 the price of the GOPro I had and offers more features with an easier interface, good accessories, and all around better experience for what I use it for. I'm buying 3 more for the rest of my employees.Longer review-GoPRO really ticked me off. My old gopro HERO5 black was stolen out of my truck and I bought the new HERO7 Silver because hey, it's the 7 and I didn't need all the extra features that the BLACK series offered. I own a construction company and use the GoPRO for a single function- time lapse videos. The HERO5 Black wasn't great, but it was durable and, by hooking up an external battery, I was able to extend the footage time. So the new HERO7 Silver shows up and... although not published anywhere... it does not have an adjustable time lapse feature. I can't believe they wouldn't offer that as a standard feature on the silver line. It's software that was developed years ago and costs them nothing to include/develop. I'm incredulous and search the internet only to find that I'm not the only one to have this exact same issue. It's extremely frustrating that it costs GOPro nothing to include this feature yet they only include it with their top of the line offering that has a bunch of stuff I'll never use.Suffice to say- I'm done with GOPro.I almost exclusively buy name brand products, but this thing has me reconsidering that position. I'm very, very happy with it. I'm not sure why they don't charge more.
