This is a fine, inexpensive digital microscope
was satisfied assembling and using this little scope. I've been using a small stereo dissector scope for years but needed a camera so I tried this small digital scope. It's fine for the low magnification I need, it's not as good at the extreme 1200x it claims, but it's serviceable at the higher magnification. It can be an advantage that the device has a rechargeable battery that will power the lights and display for at least an hour without being plugged in. The focus is a bit finicky to use, isn't a rack and pinion knob like on an ordinary scope, it's a knurled ring that is turned directly. And it's not a true "zoom" scope as advertised, as it needs to be refocused when the head is moved up or down to adjust the magnification. But it can be sharply focused and it has adjustable magnification. I think it's excellent value for someone who wants to get good videos or photos of biological specimens or the coins in the headline.

Great Product, Superb Support!
I've been helping some family to replace an old computer and set up new tech in their home. I needed this type cable to connect a monitor with a VGA port to a new computer, through the HDMI connection on a USB-C Hub. After doing a lot of comparison shopping and looking at reviews, price, and build materials, I chose this gold-plated HDMI to VGA cable from Benfei. It shipped out to my family's address and arrived very quickly! In fact, given travel concerns during the pandemic, it was able to arrive to them a full two months before I got there! When first setting up the system, everything seemed great. The cable was decently packaged, felt very solidly constructed, and connected easily. More importantly, it worked. But after just about a week of very light / intermittent use, it started to fail. In less than two weeks, it was a complete dud. No reliable picture transfer whatsoever ... just static garble or a dead screen. We tested each piece of hardware and each connection, and finally determined that it was this brand new cable. Frustrating for the family and disappointing for me!But here's the thing ... when I reached out to Benefi to ask about their replacement / return / refund policy, they responded within just a matter of HOURS. And despite their being a huge time difference between us, they even apologized that it took them THAT long to reply. So very responsive! What's more, they actually took the time to read my note explaining the problem and the troubleshooting steps that I had taken.I didn't ask for anything other than to understand their policy. The response? Immediate apology for the situation and reassurance that my investment in them was protected. Full replacement and an extended 2-year warranty! They went out of their way to promise that if there's anything else I need, they'd work with me to fix it. Period. Utterly amazing. I confirmed the shipping info (again, to my family) and they wrote back that it was out the door with 2-day shipping. This ALL happened -- from my first letter to the package leaving their hands -- in less than 24 hours!! And the package that was supposed to be shipped 2-day mail arrived ... THE VERY NEXT DAY!All of this is to say that they made an amazingly good impression. I got genuine, human help and felt very good about my choice to buy from them. I don't remember the last time I found a company that stands behind its product so strongly. Also, for what it's worth (and it should be worth a lot), the replacement cable has been performing flawlessly for several weeks now, with a solid amount of use! I highly recommend.

As an ionic refugee, I welcome my new smartwatch o
I came to this watch as a refugee from the largely abandoned Fitbit Ionic. After 18 months in the Fitbit camp, I hope I can offer some helpful observations. Functionally as a smartwatch, the Garmin is vastly superior, it seamlessly integrated with my phone, where updates and confounding sync issues became a constant headache with the Ionic. For exercise tracking, there were similar gaps that I no longer experience with the Garmin. No sudden gps glitches, no hiccups in hr monitoring, it just feels more stable and well integrated. The time from recording an exercise to reviewing it on my phone is a night and day experience, and I found Garmins app much more useful, and cleanly displayed. The one aspect I can easily give Fitbit a win is in display.. but only indoors. Garmins display indoors feels antiquated, as it is a display akin to e-inks you'd find on an Amazon kindle. Outdoors the Vivoactive 4 is beautiful, sharp, crisp, and always on, so no need for a dramatic wrist turn to get the screen to show up, which was a minor, but persistent requirement for the Fitbit. Ultimately the value comes down to your needs and uses I personally have found the Garmin to be a breath of fresh air, and well worth the extra money, truly if you are using these outdoors, in literal fresh air, you'll be glad you invested in the Garmin. And while not a stunning indoor experience with backlighting, you will get used to it as well

This is the real review you want to read
It's hard to know what reviews are legit nowadays, some of them seem so overglowing that they might be paid for, some seem so overly-critical that you wonder what's wrong with people. Here's the real deal from a guy who has worked in retail for over 20 years:1. Size: You think "sound machine" and it's probably the size of an old school hotel alarm clock, right? And at 20 bucks it probably sucks. Wrong. This thing is the size of an Alexa or a portable Bluetooth speaker.2. Volume: Being palm sized, this thing actually puts out quite a lot of volume when cranked all the way up, and ot doesn't sound distorted... it's clear. Compare it to the max volume of a little JBL Clip, in a dead quiet room. You can also numb the volume down enough so even if it's on the nightstand next to your head, the "noise" seems distant.3. Sound (the most important!): Upon cycling throught the sounds, the first one sounds like "white noise" (channel 3 for you old schoolers) and the next couple sounds after that sound a bit similar, with some degree of variance. To me these were unimpressive, but eventually you hit rain, thunderstorm, something that sounds like hail but is probably large raindrops, babbling brook, seaside waves, a fireplace/campfire, and they all sound pretty legit. I closed my eyes while listening to each one and Id say 80% were realistic enough to be relaxing.Power: Having a timer (constant-on or between 1 and 5 hours before shutoff) is really nice. A monkey could figure out the controls. Yes, it has to be plugged into an outlet for constant power. The only drawback I saw was that it comes with a 3.5ft cord. So if it has to reach from your outlet to wherever you want it to sit, that might be an issue. The nice part is that problem is easily remedied...the power cord is USB-to-Micro USB, so buy yourself a longer cord if you need it to reach a longer distance.Value: Honestly, I got it on sale for 20 when list price was 30. For 20 bucks, why not. Now that I have it, it was TOTALLY worth 20 bucks. Even at 30 I'd still buy it, but I might be a little salty about the short power cord.Still wondering?: I read a review on here before buying where somebody wrote that they could hear a distinct repetition of sound bite while listening to it. I was worried and thought it might be a small "blip" of silence followed by a repetitve sound clip....trust me, there isnt. There is no real discernible sound break, it's a constant continuous rolling sound.Overall: Definitely worth it. I might buy another one just so I can listen in "stereo".

PreSonus 3.5s
I'm coming from a 2.1 system, so anything I have to say about the bass being kind of thin, just remember I'm used to having a subwoofer. That said:The bass is kinda thin. Get the subwoofer if you like some "whoom" in your bass. Otherwise, some really incredible sound out of these guys! I'm a gamer, primarily RPGs, but I'm hearing sounds I wasn't even aware were in the games. I've heard the woosh of a lit torch, a high hum of an arrow going past, some really soft sounds of people walking through grass or on sand. This is not just a volume thing, but a clarity thing. Very impressed. Well worth the price tag. Also, they're not huge bookshelf speakers, which was what decided me against the similarly priced Edifiers. They fit perfectly on my cool refurb china cabinet computer desk. I also like having the headphone jack, power button, and volume control on the front of the speakers. All the jacks and plugs are on the left speaker and I needed everything on the right (closer to PC tower, power, etc) but swapping the red and white leads was easy enough. Setup was simple: If you can tell red/white/black apart, you can set these up.Good purchase, quite happy with it, will save up for the PreSonus subwoofer.

Forgot what it's like to enjoy a mouse
Over my lifetime I've had very different mice for my gaming PC. I started with the 1st gen Razer Deathadder, then a MadCatz RAT5, then the RedDragon MMO mouse, and then a Corsair Scimitar for a few years each. For the longest time I thought the Scimitar should've been the best mouse; Corsair is solid, I like using macros with all the additional buttons, etc. But, I didn't love the feel of it or the side buttons (and don't get me started on the iCUE software). After a while the middle click starting giving out and I decided to change it up & get this mouse and a Logitech G Pro TKL keyboard. So far It's been great. I like the size, weight, & feel. Logitech G Hub is wayyyy better for setting up the mouse. And there's still 7 "extra" keys total besides normal mouse functions, scroll wheel lock, and a profile switch button. This is also the first mouse I've had with a scroll lock, and is a cool/interesting feature. It definitely is not an MMO mouse, but I honestly didn't use all 12 keys; maybe half of them on the RedDragon & Scimitar.I got this on sale for $30, and would say it's worth every bit of that money. If it holds up over time, I'll be very happy with this purchase.

What's not to like
I've been singing in bands for years using the go to SM58. I work in in a seven piece covers band at the moment and we carry around a case with 6 SM58's around £600 worth of kit. I thought I'd get some cheaper mics just for band rehearsal to save some wear and tear on the Shures. I did my research and got a three pack of the XM1800s mics. First time we used them I was more than impressed by the quality of the sound. On that basis I bought a XM8500 just for me at rehearsal ( the two girls and bass player using the 1800's.) TOTALLY impressed. the ambient noise suppression is excellent and you need that in a smallish rehearsal space with two guitars ,bass, keyboards and drums going on all around you. I have yet to persuade our sound engineer to allow me to use this live , He refuses because he'd have to change all the parameters on the X32 desk but I'm working on it. I suspect that this mike would easily hold it's own against the SM58 in a live situation. If you're just starting out in a band or just need some spare mics you can't go wrong with these at this price. forget all the snobbery and use your ears.

A Real Value — Do Not Let The Low Price Fool You
The price has risen slightly on this kit since I ordered mine, but it is still an exceptional value for what it includes. This was the very first accessory I ordered when I bought my GoPro Hero 8. It included almost everything I needed (except spare batteries), plus a ton of other options I might use someday if I decide to get creative. You can wear or mount your GoPro literally anywhere with all the options this kit gives you. My main use will be with the handlebar mount, and I was impressed that it was designed with a quick-release notch so you don't have to completely undo the mounting screws to install or release it. That attention to small details is evident throughout this kit. I was also extremely impressed that nearly ALL METAL IS STAINLESS STEEL. The case is acceptable but not great, and you may want to add your own cutout foam padding to it like I did. However, considering that the GoPro itself is pretty shock-resistant this is mostly a non-issue. Even if you only use a fourth of what this kit includes, you will get your money's worth — plus have plenty of ways to get super creative in mounting your GoPro. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Gotta Love It
If you had told me back when I first started working with computers that I would someday be able to walk around with 128GB of storage on my keychain and only pay around $35 for it, I would have thought you were mad. Even applying Moore's Law to storage capacity I still would not believe the price point or data transport speed now available to us.Samsung seems to be the leader these days when it comes to flash memory devices. This particular model of Samsung thumb drive has both some advantages and drawbacks. It's really up to the user to decide whether this model fits their needs best or if they should look elsewhere. The biggest plus that this model has going for it is transfer speed. Using the newest USB 3.1 protocol gives you the fastest theoretical transfer speeds next to an actual SSD without the high price or cumbersome installation issues. My benchmark tests ran similar to what others have reported here with read speeds slightly faster than advertised and write speeds slightly slower than expected. For whatever reason that seems to be the trend in the industry right now, for better or for worse. This particular model is visibly a bit bulkier than other USB 3.1 thumb drives due to the loop hole for a lanyard being provided. This is probably the product's biggest trade-off and potential weakness. Being wider than most other thumb drives means that you may have a problem squeezing it into an available USB socket on tight computer installations. It is definitely easier to grasp than most thumb drives. Again, whether this trade-off is worth it to you depends upon your particular situation. There is no special software that comes with the drive. If you want to use any encryption features you will need to provide your own software or app. Fortunately, it's backward compatible design seems to operate pretty universally across multiple hardware platforms and operating systems. I have had no problems transferring it between computers or devices. The last feature that is worth mentioning is the advertised ruggedness of the drive. It is supposed to stand-up to x-rays, water, magnets and high temperatures (exactly how high, it does not say). I would hope that shock resistance is included as well, since it seems to be built quite a bit sturdier than your average thumb drive. While I have not tried subjecting this particular drive to any of the above extremes, the advertised 5 year warranty gives me a bit more confidence in this product than I would have from others. At around $35 for 128GB, this is a great deal on a very portable, fast, cross-platform storage device. It's a bit bulkier than some competitors, but if you aren't suffering from a shortage of available USB slot space it shouldn't make any difference. Definitely a thumbs-up from me.
