Good picture, but not quite "UHD".
So far I am satisfied with the essential properties - the image quality, the large achievable distance between the "A" lens and the workpiece and the mechanics of the base.
The manual states in several places that an SD card is not included in the scope of delivery - but in fact a 32GB microSD card, as described here by the seller, was included. However, no 5V 2A USB power supply is included - you have to provide one yourself.
The "digital zoom" function makes sense, since the 10" monitor on the device can display less resolution than the sensor delivers. However, I find the small steps of just a factor of 1.1 change per keystroke impractical - at least factor 1, 3 or even 1.5 would have made more sense.
The 2 LED lamps with giraffe necks on the base get pretty hot when in use, but are otherwise very bright and easy to adjust.
I will probably replace the barrel connector for the power supply of the base with an angled one, since the supplied one requires an impractical amount of flat space behind the base.

Great sound and bass.
This speaker packs a serious punch. The sound is crisp and clear and doesn’t distort when it’s at max volume.

Good sound, bass
Great sound, especially with bass that improves over ear buds. Only regret is that they press on my ears, not great for long sessions.

They make great computer speakers
This is a $99 pair of studio monitors. Don't expect them to have "reference" quality as far as studio monitors go, which are a specific type of speaker intended to have a truly flat frequency response so studio engineers and producers can hear any changes they make to a mix precisely. The best studio monitors go for many thousands of dollars per pair. When I see a cheap pair of studio monitors like this, what I immediately think of is "flat sound". Many manufacturers will make a pair of small speakers that are pretty mid-rangey, without much bass *or* treble but also without a lot of distortion, shrug their shoulders and label them "studio monitors". Speakers like that are usually "fine" but neither do they have character (as studio monitors shouldn't) but they also don't sound very pleasing to the ear. These speakers *sound* better than most "studio monitors" in that they actually have a little bit of bass and treble and they're not intending - or maybe just not succeeding at - being truly flat. But if they're not succeeding at it, they're not succeeding in a pleasing way. I also have a pair of Edifier R1280T's, which are definitely *not* "studio monitors" and are intentionally trying to create a warm, bass-heavy sound, and I almost just bought another pair of those. I like them, for the price. But these Presonus speakers are not too terribly different, although they do have a little more midrange. But they also have decent bass for their size, and good treble. There's a good YouTube video out there comparing them directly, if you search both model numbers. Make sure you listen to it with good headphones, though.I'm using these as computer speakers and for $99, they blow away almost any other dedicated "computer speakers" (ie. advertised as such) in sound quality. And what is a computer speaker, anyway? It's just a powered, shielded speaker, which is exactly what these are. They're small enough to fit on the side of most monitors (the visual kind), or in my case with an ultrawide monitor, on their sides blowing *underneath* the monitor. And being basic black plastic with no speaker grilles, they fit the look too. There is no DAC in these - what do you expect for $99? - so you need to connect them with an analog cable to your PC's sound card or motherboard, but they come with that cable. Obviously Presonus knows that some people will use them for this purpose. They're definitely the best PC speakers I've ever owned, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for that.Would I recommend them in an *actual* studio? As someone who's actually recorded music in studios... maybe? The definition of "studio" has changed so much these days, and maybe that's how so many manufacturers get away with labeling so many cheap speakers as "studio monitors" now. If you've got a MacBook running ProTools, then sure - buy these. They're fine! Maybe better than most. If you're at Abbey Road Studios looking to replace what you currently have there, then no.
