A fantastic digital microscope.
I bought this microscope to look at coins and it works amazingly well. Easy-to-use interface, can be connected to a monitor with an HDMI cable.

Works well for clock repair and has on screen cros
I bought this on a whim thinking I might find a use for it once I had it in my hands. Just a couple days later while re-pivoting a clock gear a .03" drill bit broke off down inside the freshly drilled hole, well below the surface. It took a lot of hours to remove the broken piece and repair the hole and I couldn't have done it without this microscope. I was able to zoom in on the broken bit and see the damage holding it in place.I liked the microscope so much I took it to work and showed my coworkers in the QC Lab and they decided to buy a different model because it has side lighting. The unit they bought doesn't give as clear a picture and is hard to adjust. In case you want to mount this on a machine, it has a crosshair function that overlays a crosshair on the image. The unit my lab purchased does not.

Amazing Microscope CAM, great picture, easy to use
The media could not be loaded.

I needed a CAM for my girl who is now collecting rocks, where I have also been using it for other things too, like jewelry, fantastic views of gem stones. I was going to send up some pics, however, the video on this is awesome, so I have included one. The controls are very easy, the app is amazing, very nice app, manipulation is awesome, where you can review, take snapshots, zoom in and out, and retake pics from the phone. Just awesome. Very easy to use, charges fast and stays charged. No cons, can't think of a one on this one, where I am very, very happy with this purchase.

Hold down on/off switch - don't "2X" like they say
This thing doesn't come with instructions other than "2X" near a pic of the on/off switch. That means double click, right? Nope. You have to hold down the on/off switch until you see the Koolertron logo, then keep holding it down until unit starts working. Many others said they sent it back because they could never get it to turn on, and I was almost going to do the same thinking they were telling me to double click for power. By accident I found this trick. Would be nice if they sent some instructions. Otherwise, the picture is good for what it is. I bought mine to help me see details while doing crafts. If you're looking for a real "microscope" this isn't it, but if you just need a lot of magnification, it works.

Quality
The first impression makes difference, good product, a nice design very easy to set up, even using my iPhone or on my HP Desktop running Windows 10. Tomorrow I will try on my job since I work for Intel on the Labs Testing Motherboards, DIMMS, and PCIe Cards. There is a lot of Jumpers, Switches that required to be stramping, and this Microscope will help me a lot.

Works Great
This is my third USB microscope. The people who write these ads have absolutely NO idea what they are talking about, and have no problems with lying. You don't need a microscope to examine a circuit board, or as they advertise as a "A Funny Tool" then make wild claims (lies) about the capabilities. This means you have to go by customer revues - which may also be bogus. That's why I'm on my third microscope. This device (or any similar) is NOT suited for hand-held use, as claimed. I bought a ring stand and a clamp from AMAZON , which holds it very steadily. Now --The best features about this are -- a fairly hi-rez sensor, and its wi-fi capabilities.First of all, you need to charge the internal batteries via a USB port. There's a little blinky light near the port to tell you when it's charged. To get the maximum resolution, you must use it over wi-fi - If you use a USB connection to a PC, you won't get the higher resolution. I'm using this with a 10 inch Android tablet. First, you install the Max-See software (free from the google store). When you open this app, you will get a message asking to connect to the Max-See wi-fi. Then it gives you a list of the local wi-fi connections available. You may need to wait a while for the Max-See network to show up. Be patient. If it doesn't show up, close Max-See on the Android device, and try again. It should come up eventually.Once you are connected , go back to the Max-See screen, and you will have an image. For the best resolution , you must get the sensor as close to the object as possible. Then adjust the focus wheel to get a clear image. I found that for my purpose (trichomes) I got better images with the light level as low as possible.Play with this thing, and you can get some really nice images. Be aware that the depth of field will be minuscule. You will need to focus on the most interesting parts.

Works pretty well!
There was a big piece of lint or something inside the microscope that showed on the screen. I blew into it and it moved somewhere else so it’s working okay now. The device does feel a little cheap and light. Also it’s a bit frustrating getting the direction right when panning across something. The WiFi connection is a little bit of an extra step (it would be better with just using Bluetooth. But it works fine for what I use it for.

The Tiger at the zoo
I bought these for my g-granddaughter , then I took her to the Denver zoo, and it was the best time at the zoo we ever had. She saw Tiger walking over a glassed in walkway above her head. She was 2 1/2 yrs old. She is now 3 1/2 and she still is talking about that tiger and how much fun she had that day. She uses them to look at the trees, bugs, birds, the deer and elk in our yard, people walking on the road above our house (we live in the foothills west of Denver). This and the microscope put out by Educational Insights are her favorite toys. She set them up on a table and when she comes home from preschool, she goes right to them. She collects rocks, pine cones and leaves to look at under the microscope. This Christmas she is getting Educational Insights GeoSafari Jr. Bugnoculars and Educational Insights GeoSafari Jr. BugOpticals. These are very affordable educational toys that really get kids to explore their environment.

Great wireless/Wi-Fi microscope
The Wi-Fi & wireless features I are so nice. Makes it so much easier to capture a photo. It does require some steadiness, and it comes with a stand, but it’s limited in height. Still much better than the handheld microscopes that attach to your phone. The picture quality is amazing.
