The first gesture turns face tracking on and the second gesture turns face tracking off. In my test with Facetime, the face tracking worked absolutely reliably and without any time delay. Every head movement was reliably tracked horizontally and vertically. Overall, this tripod makes a very high-quality impression, is very well made and offers safe and reliable functionality.
