My partner and I recently started a YouTube channel and we're amazed at how many other content creators have really bad audio quality in their videos. Not wanting to join them, we decided to try these mics and here's our take. Connecting the receiver to the iPhone was a breeze. Just plug it in and start recording. We tried testing it with just the Apple Voice Recorder app already installed, and that worked fine. The mics are well designed and have a clip on the back that is strong enough to clip to a shirt, sweater, etc. There is a button to mute yourself, which is very useful. I went to another room in the house where I could hear my partner and the system picked up my voice clearly with no discernible lag. When they were side by side there was no interference from the individual microphones. Speaking simultaneously resulted in clear sound quality with both voices easily understood. The finished audio quality is adequate rather than stunning, but for what we intend to use them for, like podcasts, interviews, and general chatter, they'll be good enough to get our channel up and running. Charging is easy and quick, so we'll likely keep them as a backup for when we can afford serious mics in the near future. Overall a good product that's of a high enough standard for podcasts and the like, so I'll give them four out of five. I hope you found this review helpful.
