This screw-on filter ensures that you can reduce the light for taking photos. This results in a longer exposure time, which can be used well for certain situations.
We have now tested this filter a few times and so far we are quite satisfied with the results achieved.
It does or should achieve what the filter does or should achieve. This makes it easy to blur or let waterfalls, streams or moving clouds flow. Or you can also use such a filter quite well here in areas that are very busy with people. With a long exposure, you can easily make people disappear from the photos who are in motion.
But you can definitely recommend it. Nice effects, no color changes visible (bluish, purple, etc.).
The K&F Concept coating technology gives the filter a very low reflectivity, which ensures good light transmission, reduces stray light and ghosting, prevents glare and does not affect the original lens performance.
A really well made filter.
The nano coating is waterproof, dirt-proof and scratch-resistant and therefore ensures excellent durability of the filter.
The workmanship, design and quality look very high-quality and very well made, and the filter glass texture also makes an extremely positive, scratch-free impression.
The variable ND filter reduces light by up to f-stops, meaning ND2-32 (1-5 stop), which causes no color cast and no loss of image quality.
On the subject of autofocus and filters:
The autofocus continues to work well with the Sony A7 Mark 2 or the Sony 6500 combined with various lenses, although this decreases a bit. Here you simply have to switch to manual focus.
Overall, a really well-made filter, with the advantage that it is easy to install compared to rectangular filters, which require a rectangular filter attachment.
This filter arrives in a neatly made box, in which it can be stored safely and well.
So far, this filter has convinced us without any objections, so it is a clear recommendation.
We put a lot of effort into writing our reviews and invest a lot of time. In doing so, we address positive as well as negative aspects of the product in order to clarify everything before buying. Who likes bad surprises? So not us. Therefore, we hope that our review was useful and was able to help. Let us know Thank you in advance... Best
regards
