Goes on Quiet, Unlike Other Filters
This K&F Concept filter screwed on smoothly to my lens, without any of the harsh turning sounds other filters made that I have tried.
This filter is rather unique in my collection, because it is the first filter I own that has a screw on filter cap. It is similar to a lens cap, but much thinner and made of metal.
I own a lot of UV filters, but this is a diffusion filter. It produces a noticeable glow around light sources. It is a 1/4 strength filter and did produce more of a glow than another brand's 1/8 filter that I tried. I guess there is some uniformity in how much glow they produce, across brands, relatively speaking.
The filter itself feels thick and substantial.
You can really see the diffusion coating on the glass.
Overall, I am happy with this filter and it did what it is supposed to do. It produces a glow that is a bit unnatural, but not too over-the-top.
