Good!
I would like to say this is not for a professional, it is for a beginner which is what I am. This does work pretty well with finding metal its not always accurate on the types I dug up a lot of trash that it was saying was coins or Jewelry but if you narrow it down to what you want and have a Garrot Carrot or pinpointer to help when you start digging then you shouldnt have too much of an issue. I did replace the plastic bolt that holds the bottom on because it wouldnt keep it locked into the angle I needed once I did that it worked well!
