The app used to operate the camera is extremely good. The solar panel is well made and provides the camera with sufficient power. All in all, I really liked the camera and the accessories that came with it and I give it a well-deserved 5 stars. _________________________________________________________ _________________________________________________________ ⊳ First impression ⊲ We already have a controllable WLAN camera in our company because a break-in took place at our premises. But we want to monitor several rooms, so we decided to get a solar webcam for the outside area. Packaging and first impression are very good. The scope of delivery includes: *surveillance camera *solar panel with micro-USB cable *USB to micro-USB cable for data transmission *various attachments (very extensive) *descriptions ⊳ Setup / commissioning ⊲ After a short setup I was able to test the surveillance camera extensively. To use it you need an app on your cell phone so that all functions can be operated. Application is available on both IOS and Android and can be downloaded for free. The application is comprehensive and, in addition to live images, also includes intercom, recording and motion detection. The application is well done, especially the setup on the smartphone is described in detail and it is easy to find your way around. ⊳ Recording quality / functions ⊲ The camera records in up to 2K which leads to a very good picture, sound is recorded through a microphone which can only be used to a limited extent. It's loud enough, but the sound quality leaves a lot to be desired. I particularly liked the fact that you can switch the camera to night mode in dark surroundings and switch on the integrated infrared diodes. This causes the camera to switch to black and white playback. I tested the camera with a 64GB SD card and everything worked fine. ⊳ Application ⊲ In the app it is also possible to import several cameras. You can also access the camera image from your cell phone when you're on the go. The smartphone does not have to be connected to the same network. The camera has a control and can be attached in a fixed position, thanks to the extensive range of accessories, it can be mounted on walls or tripods without any problems. The areas of application through the supplied accessories are large and really well solved. ⊳ Solar panel ⊲Thanks to the accessories, the supplied solar panel can be mounted on many surfaces. I recommend mounting the panel as far as possible at right angles to the incoming sun. The better and brighter the sunlight hits the panel, the more electricity is generated. Right off the bat, the panel also generates electricity when it's in the shade or when it gets cloudy. The output power isn't particularly strong, but it's enough to run the camera without any problems. I tested the performance of the solar panel and plugged it into my smartphone and stopped the time. My phone was charged about 30% in 2 hours. Sunlight was unobstructed and almost perpendicular to the panel. The panel is well made and has not shown any weak points.
