For me, the most important thing about this camera is that it can be charged with solar energy. Because I would like to use the camera to monitor my front yard and had no intention of drilling a hole for a power cable through the outer wall including the insulation. And this camera deals with the 2 above options. It was also important to me that the recorded images / videos were not stored directly in a cloud, where you then had to take out a subscription and thus incur additional costs. You can do that here too, but you also have the option of saving all data on a micro SD card (not included in the scope of delivery). And it works perfectly, you only have to format it once after inserting it. Whether even larger maps can be used, I can not say. I would have liked to get a bigger one right away, but you can really delete the recorded information super quickly via the "CloudEdge" APP and thus always ensure enough storage space. And this app is also mandatory for operating and managing the camera. The handling of the app is really very good and everything is easy to understand. This is also used to set up the camera for the first time, which is really super quick. It is important here that you choose a place with good WiFi reception. But this is an included step in the setup of the camera and therefore cannot be forgotten :-). You should also make sure that the actual camera, not the solar panel, is not exposed to direct weather influences (i.e. no extreme solar radiation and you should not expose it to direct rain either). Ok, of course it is also dust and waterproof with IP66, but you should avoid that, as it could certainly be damaged in heavy rain or extreme sun. The camera also has a microphone and a loudspeaker, so that it can interact with the delivery man, the postman or the people in front of the front door, for example. In addition, the good piece can also be rotated or tilted 355 degrees horizontally and 95 degrees vertically (according to the product description) in order to control the camera accordingly via the app, which also works great. Motion detection works just fine too. And the LED lights are real headlights and are a deterrent when they switch on automatically. If the camera records something, you immediately receive an "alarm" via the app and can then look at the details. Really a very helpful product, which totally inspires me. In short, what I was really looking for. Sure, you have to see how well the solar collectors work and whether the camera works more or less independently as far as the power supply is concerned. And of course, everything stands or falls with these collectors. You just have to see how durable the solar panel is, but of course I can't judge that at the moment. Pictures and videos in very low-light environments also look really good and are absolutely usable. I am generally enthusiastic about the videos and pictures that the camera delivers. I tried it out briefly this morning in our living room (it was more or less still quite dark). The LED lights switch on automatically when there is movement and the camera records the images/videos superbly. In my opinion, the quality is really impressive, whether by day or by night. I can't understand some reviews that are not satisfied with the quality of the data. Maybe the camera wasn't installed really well here or there are problems with the WiFi? Here I can only recommend to "reset" the camera again and set it up again. Or you can simply contact customer service, which is also possible via the app. The only shortcoming I can find here and therefore deduct a 1/2 star is the product description, which once again is not really perfect. Yes, it's better than some others, but unfortunately it doesn't read fluently and has one or two errors. Unfortunately, the pictures on the product page were only labeled in English. Unfortunately, the labeling on the box that the camera came with is not in German either. However, the supplied instructions for use are available in German. Only the quick set-up guide is only available in English. But you don't really need that, because the German-language app guides you through the entire setup. You can see the exact scope of delivery on my pictures. Conclusion: For me currently a super camera. I'm thinking about buying a second one to monitor the back of my garden. Currently I would give the camera a smooth 5 stars alone. I'm only deducting half a star for the small things mentioned above. But I can only recommend the actual product.
