The surveillance camera is powered by the built-in battery, which can either be charged using a power supply or the solar panel included in the set. A mounting base for the solar panel is included, as well as a 1 m long micro USB cable. To set up the camera, you need to download an app, for which the QR code is printed on page 24 of the enclosed instructions for use. Once the camera has been set up, it can be controlled using the app. To do this, it must be registered in the home network (2.4 GHz). You can choose between SD and HD for the video resolution. You can also have so-called intercom conversations. This works in both directions. It also has a so-called motion mode. It detects movements and automatically displays the image in the app. The camera has a night mode thanks to infrared lighting. 2 bright LEDs can also be activated for even better visibility. The images can be recorded on an SD card with a maximum size of 128 GB in the camera, or you can use cloud storage. Furthermore, the app can be used to control the camera's viewing angle to the left and right (almost 360 degrees) and up and down (120 degrees). The image displayed in the app is clear and precise. Thanks to its independence from a power grid, it can be used for particularly dark corners. The camera's operating time is stated as around 200 days when switched on 10 times a day for 15 seconds each. The camera is waterproof to IP 66.
