Does not show the battery level
I have used it every weekend for courier work for approx. 2 months.
Pros:
- Loud speakers: for phone calls the maximum volume is even too loud in a city. My previous headset was a lot cheaper and I struggled to hear even in a downtown area at relatively slow speeds.
- Great noise cancellation: the people who talked to me on the phone via the V6 could not hear that I was on a motorcycle (in a city, at speeds of up to 50 kph or 30 mph).
- The speaker/charging port is more durable than the USB ones.
- Good battery life, the battery lasts for days.
- Good system to fix to a helmet.
Cons:
- It does not show the remaining battery level anywhere - not next to the bluetooth button, nor in a dedicated app (which does not exist). When the battery is low, it starts to say it via the speakers and the lower the level gets, the often it says it, starting from once an hour to every few minutes near 0%. If you have to continue using it for hours like this, it becomes very annoying and distracting.
- It has an antenna which sometimes catches onto a jacket or something else.
- It has a lot of small buttons. If you do not need pairing with other motorcyclists, it is too much work trying to remember which button does what at the beginning, but latter you learn to feel your way around them.
I think it is good value for money if you need a basic headset just to make/receive calls and for navigation apps.
