We've been installing this for an hour
It turned out we needed to follow the directions to orient this to our deadbolt lock. My daughter followed the directions and after an hour of installation, she broke the lock. Now she's drilled a new hole in the door and she can't re-install the old lock. She has swapped traditional deadbolt locks a thousand times and she has installed more modern numerical locks on our back door, but this one got the better of her.It took two hours to get it installed. We have two iPhone 13s and one hooked up, the other did not. But the fingerprint feature is VERY VERY COOL.We've been using the lock for a couple days now and despite the difficulty getting it in the door, so far the features and the easy access made this product worth the hassle. I get notifications on my watch when the door locks and unlocks and the temporary passcode feature is great for neighbors and pet sitters.
