Great metal detector
I bought this for my 10 year old son, hoping he could be successful with it instead of having to buy a cheap kid's one. I'm so happy with the purchase. He was able to assemble it on his own, understand most of the manual, and start using it all on his own. It's easily broken down when we need it to be compact. If I had to pick a negative, I guess the only drawback we've seen is the display isn't always accurate but we didn't expect it to be. For instance it reads a gold ring as a quarter. So we just dig up everything. I asked my kid what he likes or doesn't like about it, and he says "I like everything about it!"
