absolutely usable binoculars
Scope of delivery: - The binoculars - Carrying strap - Bag - Lens caps - Lens cleaning cloth - Corner for mounting on tripods - Instruction manual Advantages and disadvantages - Brief summary✅ good feeling✅ good optical elements✅ mechanical elements work well✅ ergonomic✅ Can be mounted on a tripod✅ Carrying strap ✅ Lens caps ✅ Object distance 3m to infinity ✅ Adjustment for different diopters of individual eyes ✅ Adjustable eyecups ❌ Carrying strap seems quite cheap, material rubs on the neck ❌ The content of the instructions for use is completely inadequate ❌ Tripod mounting with your fingers without tools is a bit unstable. The binoculars are supplied in a lightly padded, well-protected bag. Both the lenses and the eyepieces have rubber lens caps that are easy to remove when unpacking. On the lens side they are attached to rubber rings with a tab so that they are not lost, but they can also be removed completely. There is no such direct attachment for the eyepiece protective caps. There is an eyelet through which the carrying strap can be threaded. The feel gives a high-quality impression. It is a relatively heavy device in relation to its size, and the materials also feel high-quality. The finish is impeccable. Only the included carrying strap seems quite cheap. The included multilingual instructions for use are also in German. You search in vain how to properly attach the carrying strap. Much other information is missing and what is available is kept very brief. I don't think my method of pulling the straps through the binocular eyepieces and eyepiece caps and snapping them into the clip on the strap is the wrong way to go. At least it seems to be holding up somewhat. The object distance adjustment element is ergonomically easy to reach and easy to operate with one or more fingers. It is accessible from above and below. There is a diopter difference setting for the right eyepiece. Testing process: Different distances aimed and focused. Clear view in daylight with good image clarity. When first used, it was initially difficult to hold the binoculars correctly without restricting the field of view of the eyepiece. Rubber cups are attached to the eyepiece with which the distance to the eyepiece can be adjusted. I turned it out a bit. The setting clicks easily into place in three stages. It is easier with the optimal eye relief to the eyepiece lens. Object can still be easily recognized in residual light in a darkened room, with barely noticeable reduction in brightness compared to the naked eye. Camera mounted on tripod. To do this, a non-slip protective screw is removed by hand and the corner is installed with a non-slip screw. The screw is secured against falling out with a rubber ring. It is difficult to tighten the screw between the lenses firmly enough with your fingers. There is a slot for a large screwdriver. However, such a tool is not included in the scope of delivery. I used the tripod to aim sharp objects at a construction site. Diopter adjustment initially centered at the zero position. In the undulation a slightly larger distance with a vertical line can be seen, which can be directed towards an opposite relief "- 0 +". Monocular left focus. Right eyepiece adjusted with a diopter adjustment ring. Perfect HD display; If, like me, you are a little nearsighted with different diopters, you get an idea of what life would be like with glasses. Now I have aimed and focused on a square object on the construction site. I observed the object with one eye and looked through the binoculars with my naked eye. Subjectively judged, a length fits approximately 8 to 10 times the magnification. The specification of 10x magnification seems plausible. All mechanical parts work smoothly with good resistance, so they can be properly and finely adjusted without accidentally changing the setting. Conclusion: Technically, the product makes a very high-quality, professional impression. The cheap carrying strap spoils the impression a bit. The instructions for use are not suitable for the inexperienced first user. Nevertheless, full marks for the essential, the product itself: around 43 euros seems absolutely justified for such an optical device.
