TOP Adapter FD to EOS R
got this adapter to adapt old Canon FD bayonet lenses to my Canon RP mirrorless. It works absolutely perfectly. The adapter sits on the EOS-R bayonet without any play and the FD lenses fit the adapter well. Concentrating to infinity is possible. This does not seem to be the case with all adapters, I have already had good experiences with the corresponding K&F adapters on my Olympus OMD EM 1.2. It is important that the adapter lock ring is first turned in the “OPEN” direction. Next, the FD lens with the smallest aperture number, for example 1.8 or 1.4, is attached, and then the lock is turned to “LOCK”. The desired aperture can then be selected manually on the lens. The locking ring on the FD-EOS R adapter is much tighter than on the MFT version; There it can easily be set in the “OPEN” direction. You learned something new there. That's why this adapter receives my unreserved recommendation. I will gradually buy more K&F adapters (e.g. M42) for the RP as I have not yet been disappointed with the price/performance ratio.
