Having used professional tripods before, I can tell you that this feels like a professional tripod. The legs are very sturdy with good locks and extend easily. With a quarter turn, the ball joint locks securely. All the adjustments you would need are there and the materials are very nice and of good quality. Even the case far exceeds my expectations: it is very sturdy and durable, with a very large, easy to use zipper. I am very impressed with the quality
