Surprisingly compact while still maintaining good overall capacity!
It comes in a cardboard box, enclosed in an additional plastic bag. I was immediately surprised by the size of the box as I was expecting something much larger based on the product images. Let's start with the exterior. Well made, the fabric seems very resistant and has an excellent texture. I really like the reinforced part, which is extremely rigid and robust, to guarantee superior protection for the photo kit. The hinges are all very good, they flow without hesitation. I didn't particularly like the release buckles, I find them cheaply made, the plastic is quite thin, they work but they feel like one of those parts that can give way over time. Still on the outside, in the upper part, we find a very comfortable pocket, which opens like an envelope, rather rigid and with some useful compartments. The backpack, even empty, manages to stand up on its own, while when full it obviously depends on the weight distribution inside. But be careful where you place it, the bottom does not have any type of rubberized reinforcement or similar, you risk ruining it and if it gets wet you risk some minor infiltration, the material is not waterproof, be careful to puddles! Speaking of water, a cover is also provided which can be used when it rains. It is elastic and requires a moment of patience to apply it but, if necessary, it is practical. The color is light gray, which is a bit off, but be patient. The backrest and shoulder straps are padded and now that the backpack is new, they are quite comfortable. We'll see if they maintain their properties over time, in case I update this review! It must be said that I would have preferred slightly wider straps. Inside we find the different components equipped with Velcro, in order to adapt the available space according to our needs. These dividers are quite well made although I found some imprecise stitching and in general they feel a bit cheap. The same goes for the two elastic straps, which are cheap, although they do their job. The interior lining is gray and has a particular texture that doesn't bother me, modern and aesthetic. Despite the compact size of this backpack, there's plenty of space inside for a respectable photo kit, including microphones, lights, and lenses. To conclude, I must say that my first experience with the K&F Concept brand was generally positive. At a price of around one hundred and twenty euros, it is certainly not an economical product, on the contrary, I consider it a decent investment. In my opinion, a few details/components reveal cost savings but overall I consider this to be a qualitatively respectable product. Is it worth the amount requested? I sincerely recommend waiting for a few offers.
