This tripod literally blew my socks off! Until now I have always used a cheap tripod, which I bought at the Red Media Shop. In comparison, this tripod is a monster of quality and functions! Advantages: - High quality carrying case included! - The camera possibly rests on a ball joint! - Tripod effortlessly extends incredibly HIGH! - The mounting hook for backpack or similar to stabilize the tripod is spring-loaded and retracts by itself! - bubble level! - It's black! Cons: - As soon as I find something, I'll post an update ;) You can choose to mount the camera on a ball head or classic. The ball head gives you the huge advantage of being able to tilt the camera CONTINUOUSLY in ALL directions, and with just one adjustment screw. The ball head comes apart very easily and you have a classic tripod head. The included spirit level is very handy for aligning the tripod or camera straight. The included carry bag is very high quality, the design might make it look like it holds expensive sports equipment. The mounting hook is spring tensioned and retracts on its own when not in use. There have been many situations where I could have used a hook like that. The adjustment screws almost all have a non-slip, ribbed rubber ring, which allows you to screw them in and out very easily. The clip fasteners on the legs grip well and keep everything in place, as it should! The price is a bit high, but reasonable for the performance. I can recommend this tripod and give it 5 stars for its great quality and well-thought-out and functional design.
