Now I know what is eating my garden
I've been using this trail camera for just over a month and find it works well. Motion detection is good over a reasonable range. As well as a sturdy tree strap, the camera has a solid mounting socket on the base to place it on a tripod, which is what I use most of the time. I have it set to record between 9pm and 9am and have gotten videos of rabbits, hedgehogs and birds so far.
