Well-made, light and comfortable smaller camera backpack
I started photography 23 years ago. Over all those years, I've ignored camera backpacks, thinking they're too expensive for being "single use thing". On the other hand, in the recent years when going on vacations our family photography gear collection has grown so much that it was a big struggle to fit everything for a trip safely into regular backpack, where I used individual padded sacks inside to avoid equipment crashing against itself. It was also inefficient taking the stuff out, especially when it was at the bottom. So... maybe... the time has come for a specialised camera backpack. Here we are :-).
I already know the K&F brand and have many accessories from them. The backpack was not a disappointment. All in all it's a well-made product, came well packaged, with nice stickers, hint card and instructions. The materials used look and feel very durable, and the padding is excellent. The size is ideal for us who are smaller and lighter and don't want to carry something that's bigger than us (I'm 173cm, my wife is 167cm, and we both are pretty slim).
Regarding the compartments and capacity, for the recent trip I didn't have any problem fitting Sony A7C, 4 Sony FE lenses, Fujifilm X-E3 with a lens, small analog compact camera, and Nikon FM2n with a lens. Plus some accessories, such as chargers, cables (both also for laptop), second set of SD cards, lens cleaning tools, few filters, additional packs of analog films, passports, wallet, and 13in M1 Macbook Air... So in my book, the capacity is pretty solid. Admittedly we do not use large telephoto lenses, the largest I took on this trip was 85/1.8, but on the other hand not everyone needs to carry a total of 4 cameras and 6 lenses in one backpack (so once I would reduce the number of cameras, I can easily fit larger lenses — if I had any :-)).
During the trip, I was very happy with the backpack, especially with the comfortable padding, meaning that when carrying all the weight, it was still feeling comfy (and lighter than I would've guessed). Another great thing is the opening, so I was able to pick quickly anything from any location in the backpack. The outer pockets were also handy, for passports, wallets, etc.
If I have to find anything that was not perfect, then maybe the laptop pocket. It didn't seem it would accept much thicker laptop than the Macbook Air, so please take that into account and don't expect to fit there larger and thicker laptops like the 16in Macbook Pro or some larger machines by Dell or Thinkpad. And maybe I would welcome a bit more of "spare"/additional velcro dividers for the insides of the backpack — in my case with fairly compact mirrorless lenses, I would've been able to fit for example 4 lenses across the bottom if I had more dividers.
Overall, for the current incredible price around 60 EUR I think the backpack is absolutely gorgeous, and can definitely recommend it to everyone who doesn't need or want a large backpack for large lenses, medium format cameras or large laptop.
