The filter does not noticeably reduce the image quality, it just drags the lights out. What is a bit irritating is that the description says that the lines should be blue transparent, at least that's how it was written at the time of writing this review. However, the lines take on the color of light. For example, I photographed a reddish string of lights and the lines were also in the same color, but not blue. Personally, I think that's better because you're not limited to one color, but the colors match the overall picture better.

All in all, I can give this product 5 stars and also recommend buying it.
