Great Apple CarPlay and dashcam upgrade
This is a great upgrade for those of us who like having a little extra data in front of us. The CarPlay is great. I’ve used quad lock cases for multiple years and will continue to use it on long rides when my phone needs a charge. But it’s great to be able to keep my phone in my pocket and let the CarPlay screen be my interphase.
Connection from the phone, to the unit, and my helmet have no issues and connects quickly.
The cameras work well and have good clarity. The TPS works well as well. Set up was easy although it did take me a couple tries to make it happen.
I did not hard wire this to the bike since I have a 12v outlet but wiring was easy (for this bike).
The one issue I have is that the unit does vibrate quite a bit. But this is of my own doing due to the small bar I mounted it on (rubber gasket made it fix, but caused the vibration). I’m sure if I stuck on the handle bars, it would be just fine.
