Overall I give this product a 4 star rating because I do think the video quality, white balance and colour rendering are A+. That said the zoom range isn't so great and the pan is quite choppy. But I was well aware of this prior to purchasing, as I know this is a fixed focal length and thus there is a reliance on digital zoom. But for $220, you really get what you pay for. If you really want something nice and have the cash, you should be looking at a PZT surveillance style camera. But be prepared to drop a pretty penny for smooth panning, good f stop and an optical based zoom. I have a surveillance style camera that I use for webcam broadcasts, I spent around $700 for a USED one plus another $120 for a capture card.I purchased the BCC950 mainly as a backup camera to my surveillance style camera. Also this is fairly portable (my surveillance one is not) and works great when I am working from my laptop on the road. Again for $220 you can't really take a crack at this webcam as it does offer some very good quality video. But don't get your hopes up about the panning and zooming abilities. Both panning and zooming do work, but they are not up to the quality of the more expensive cameras. This all said for $220 you can't really go wrong here.

I had bought this for surveillance purpose at night for pests like rats.First of all, the night camera quality is pretty average and pixelated, so I had to keep the lamp on for whole night to get good picture. The picture quality in daylight is good.

I'm actually quite happy with this camera. It makes a perfect addition to camera system. Even tho it isn't the same as the others it played quite well with the existing base. I'm running a VMB4000R3 base with 3 more cameras and this one synced immediately and quickly. For home surveillance Arlo is great.

I purchased two of the 2K Security Cameras Outdoor - 3MP Color Night Vision Wireless WiFi Home Video Surveillance Pan & Tilt 360° View with Motion Detection Auto Tracking S and by far they are the best camera for the price. They work great!

Set-up & physical installation was a breeze, once I'd routed an extension cord. Set-up via CloudEdge app on my android smartphone was fast, intuitive & trouble free (esp as compared with other surveillance cams I've installed). I especially like the ability to adjust the camera position... excellent action with no lag! I would definitely recommend this cam to a friend, and I plan on adding another myself.
