Great build quality and versatility! Worth the money!
This is a fantastic tripod! The build quality, look, and feel of the tripod is excellent! Looks, feels, and acts like a tripod that costs 3x or 4x what it actually costs! The base of the ball hinge has such a fantastically smooth pan; no matter how much pressure you put on the device while spinning, it maintains a smooth constant speed that can vary depending on how tight the screw is.The ability to convert into a monopod was a huge selling point. And as long as you can remember to bring the extra screw needed to convert it, the process is painless and simple. It will take you less than 2 minutes after learning how to convert it.Another great part about this tripod is how small it can get when fully collapsed. It fits nicely strapped to the side of my backpack, but can fully extend to above my height. Even at full extension it is strong and stable, if you need more sturdiness bring a backpack with some weight to it and hook it to the underneath of the tripod.Overall this tripod is amazingly well built and very versatile, a great purchase for beginners and experienced photographers alike!

Almost a Great Monopod except....
This is ALMOST a great monopod. Price point is good. Overall quality is good. Head locks like it should, legs lock down well without any drift. All in all it feels very solid except for the very bottom leg extension. The very bottom leg extension is far to week. If you extend the bottom leg extension and have a good 2.8 70-200 lense on it, it wiggles and flexes pretty good. I have resigned myself to the fact that the bottom extension simply cannot be used under most circumstances for risk of it snapping off. For as small a diameter as it is, they should have made it solid rather than hollow for that particular leg. Then it would be a great monopod.

A lot more than we probably needed
It seems like this kit has attachments for every possible situation with the GoPro. The problem, for us, is that we generally only use the go pro on vacation so taking all of this stuff in the bag isn't going to happen. This trip we took the head mount and the hand monopod. The head mount worked well but the wrist strap broke off the monopod the first day we used it.

Great little ball head
I own 5 ball heads of varying sizes and brands; this one is the smallest and least expensive. This little head spends most of its time on a carbon fiber monopod where it is more than adequate for my micro 4/3 system. I use a monopod when I can't use a tripod but handholding is not quite enough. Although most of my tripod heads are set up with an ARCA release, I prefer the simplicity of the direct screw mount for this head. I flop the camera to the side and maintain a solid grip on it for verticals - faster and easier than using an L-bracket, and just as effective on a monopod.The head is nicely constructed and operates very easily and smoothly. It makes shooting from my monopod very quick. I have occasionally used this head on a small tripod when light weight is really important.Giottos has found a nice right balance of size/weight/cost and good quality construction with this head.

Works very well.
Not sure if the carbon tripod/monopod systems are much lighter, but this system is perfect. Have gone out for shoots with just the monopod and both are of more than sufficient height.I do have a smaller tripod (no monopod) that's lighter and used when traveling by plan, but its much smaller too, so the weight diff is understandable.The 90 degree tilt I could see a use for getting a top view for macro and i think it's really for panoramic, but not truly needed.All-in-all, it's sturdy, durable and tall so you wont have to fully extend every fitting to get sufficient height.

I would like Luxebell to replace that part , they
the monopod stick came apart the first time I used it. the rest of the kit seems to be ok, I don't see a way to exchange just the monopod since it is defective. I would like Luxebell to replace that part, then I could give a much higher rating.Luxebell stepped up and replaced the defective monopod. This kit has many great mounts. I have used the head mount. Works great on top of a hat. It can face forward on top of the bill, which is better than on the side like the Sony. This way you don't have the hat bill in all the video.

Great for small mirrorless cameras
I have this on a monopod/walking stick. With the small handle it is nice not to have to put pressure on the camera when angling it on the ball head

Make your own monopod!
Absolutely love this thing. I made my own monopod using my hiking poles and saved $$$$$. Brilliant, adabtable, low cost and metal components (not the cheap plastic of some others)
