Perfect Fit With the Lens NOT the Camera
Perfect! Fits my Tamron 17mm wide angle so I can use it on my upcoming vacation to the Redwood Natl Forest in 3 weeks. It's been almost 20 yrs and I'm getting excited about it now that I know I'll have a GOOD camera and lens to use.UPDATE 07/27/16: I jumped the gun on this one. I ASSumed that because it fit my Tamron 17mm lens that it would fit my Canon EOS Rebel T1i. That's not the case. Yes, this adapter fit my lens perfectly but it did NOT fit my camera so I didn't get to use my lens on vacation. I even took it to a camera shop to see if I was somehow doing something wrong when trying to attach it. Nope, it simply did not fit. I'll be returning it.

This literally saved my lense. I dropped my camera and only the filter broke, saving the lense. This is the replacement. Always put a filter on your lense to protect it!

That's my 5th filter. I have multiple lenses that require that size of filter and it saved me a lot of times. I dropped my camera last time and filter was broken but the lens still works. So it serves the purpose)

Works Well
I dropped my original camera lens into a river (and before that, I had dropped it multiple times on the ground). This lens cap makes it really easy to stay on, and it stays on pretty well too.

Nice fit and effect
This filter fits my Nikkor 18-300 f:3.5-6.3 lens perfectly. Dropped one star because it seems to be a fairly weak polarizer. To be fair though it is advertised as not having a strong effect so it doesn't reduce lens speed any significant amount. Overall a very nice addition to my camera gear.
