Works great and does what it says in the description. I wish I could have gotten an adapter that could actually send digital signals or provide power to the lens, but I knew this wouldn't do that when I bought it so not gonna dock any points for that.

Goodee is the best way.
This projector rocks. This is my second goodee projector and I’m even more impressed this time around. As you can see in the picture my screen is hung over and window and even in daylight hours the picture is great. Great item great price. Who needs a tv???

Good entry, but be advised!
For the price this thing works even in daylight. Not great but the kids didn’t complain unless the sun was directly on the screen. If your just entering the projector field, this is where to start.The bad is that if your power cord goes, good luck getting just the cord. Ours got wet, projector was fine but with no way to get a replacement power cord. We are out of luck.

Clear and bright projector even with lights on!
The media could not be loaded.
I like the light compact feature of the projector. Also was amazingly bright and clear with daylight flood light on!

You can use it during the day
This is a good projector.It displays during daylight, its bright. That's an issue I've had with other projectors, not bright enough.My kid uses it with his xbox.Also, there is a case it came with.

Good product, easy to install, nice light level ch
Motion activation works in daylight as well as night.

Great value
The projector works great. It isn't going to win any awards in the quality category, but it is better than average. I mounted the projector to my ceiling in my garage, and while the door needs to be closed because the projector can't over power daylight, it works perfectly well in a darkened room.

This was a really great buy! My wife was a skeptic and is now a believer! We were preparing for a basement remodel. One thing I knew I wanted from the start was a projector. After researching for several weeks, and dozens of websites and home theater review sites, I went the Wirecutter's pick, this BenQ HT2050a. It was the right choice. So far all pro's and only the normal projector con of ambient light. The thing is, with this projector, that isn't even much of a con. Using the Vivid TV mode, it's acceptable to watch with normal ambient daylight (mind you, not full on, no curtains, bright daylight). This is my first experience owning a projector, but it is enough to convince me that it was the right way to go.
