Great Way to Protect Lens
This UV filter has been a great addition to my Tamron 35mm for my sony. This filter is definitely more of a protector than a modifier at least in my use case, it helps to protect the exposed focusing mechanism of the lens and makes sure that no dust or particulates get into the lens. Overall I would say that this is a great filter to put on any lens as it adds a barrier between the front element and the world, and I didn't notice any negative effects on image quality by having this filter on the lens.

Works fine with my Canon G16
This CPL filter works fine for my purposes with my Canon G16 with the use of JJC RN-DC58D CPL Filter Thread Lens Adapter (ASIN B00LSHR7NC). I'm an amateur photographer, interested primarily in landscapes -- but I do a lot of family point-and-shoot stuff also. Your use and needs may vary from mine.

I purchased this filter to protect my lens, and for the price, it was a bargain.

Excellent UV Filter
Excellent UV filter. I have it on my Nikkor 300mm F4 prime lens. This lens in pin sharp so if anything was going to highlight any issues with the filter it's this lens. All I can say is, I can't see any difference in image quality at all.

Good filter that I can use on multiple lenses
This filter has one thing really going for it in the fact it can be used on multiple lenses with different widths. I have primarily used it on lenses with 58mm and 49mm widths and the adapter rings fit perfectly. The filter holder fits on easily and is secure once one. The filter fits in well and there is no sliding when moved either from the lens focusing or human movement. The filter itself is a standard 1 ND and works well and is high quality. The only thing I don't love is that filters like this add quite a bit of weight especially when compared to using circular filters.

Good value on UV filter
Good value. Took some pictures through the UV filter and compared without the filter.. Did not see any deterioration with the filter on. Also nice protection for the camera lens.
