Great Price on Adapter That Works
Using this ring to allows me to use one set of filters on my two primary lenses. Well constructed, metal ring is threaded both sides, male 52mm for attaching to lens, and 58mm female for filters or other attachments. Threads are very fine and I found that I needed to carefully thread onto and off of my lens several times at first in order to "break it in". It now threads easily. Bear in mind, all lens, filter, etc. threads are extremely fine and easily crossed, TLC required. I don't know why these vendors insist on using camera brands in their descriptions as this type of item is strictly dependent on lens dimensions, but I would recommend to anyone looking to expand the use of their attachments between lenses.

Good for the money.
Pros: Good image quality, good unboxing experience, and the box it comes in can be used as a carrying case for the ND filter.Cons: threads can be easy to strip on the ND filter if not careful. That's my only gripe.I do wish that they also made a version that was 4 to 6 stops, but that's ok.

Worth every Penny!
Purchased Amazon basics CPL Dia 58mm at Rs. 549/- for my Canon EOS 1500D Kit Lens 18-55mm and got it delivered the very next day. The External Threads of CPL are perfect fit with the Lens Internal Threads. Captured few Pictures With and Without CPL and results are Damn Amazing ! If you are a Beginner and want Awesome Photographs Removing Glare and Reflections. Then this is a perfect choice. Just Grab It. Attaching few captures here

Well made, works right.
Well made ring. Threads are even and smoothly attach to my Barlow lens. Ring twists right in to my Canon 1000D with a very satisfying click and holds tight.

Nice piece of kit
Overall really like this filter. No issue threading it onto my lens. It looks great and helps to add a protective barrier between the front element and the rest of the world.Hoya is a name I trust and this filter doesn't change that.Sure it's only a UV filter, but it's worth the money and it doesn't cost a fortune.Really good value for money.

I can't find a reason not to give 5 stars
I have had this filter mounted on my lens for more than three months as of the time of writing this review. I know intellectually that there must be a valid reason that other brands cost three times more, and that some folks will cite reasons why the more expensive products are better. But in my usage, in the type of shooting which I do, I cannot see the value. This filter has not caused me any image degradation, flare issues, of other photographic problems. It has caused no mechanical concerns, like stripped or crossed threads on my lens. In short, I am well pleased and happy to have saved money to spend upon other accessories.

they add a nice touch.
After I figured out how to put this in my 2012 Ford Focus it worked well. There are two tabs at the bottom of the filter housing. You have to make sure this filter fits inside these tabs or the cover won't go back on flush. Once I figured this out the cover lined up and I screwed it back in (8 mm socket). Don't screw too much or it will strip the plastic threads. Make sure you put the enclosed K&N decals on the cover, they add a nice touch.

One issue
Overall this filter is very nice, though the only thing that made me drop a star is due to the fact the actual grip for the filter that lets you unscrew it from the lens is so tiny and awkward to use to the point where depending on how much I used the filter I'd have to use an elastic band to add grip to twist the filter off as it was shredding my nails trying to twist it after trying to unscrew it normally.Otherwise I love the filter, just I feel I might not use it as often as my smaller lens ones due to that issue.
