It worked great until a good rain. Now it’s just a blur everyday all day. Definitely NOT waterproof. It’s worthless after less than 2 months. Very disappointed

For me a surveillance Unit would be better. Camera has beautiful day pics and night pics are good on close-ups. Says it has 50 feet, but they are not really good if you really want to see. Close-ups are good. This is a daylight pic, but sorry I erased all my night time pics. I returned the second one, because I realized it was not really what I personally needed. I set it also to take multi-pics and every time tree branches blew, it was taking pictures. So pay attention to that option in Your settings. I did buy the BEST batteries and they are holding up great!

This camera is gloriously small! Check out the photos with Apple AirPods case for scale. (sorry, fresh out of bananas.) Note that although it stands perfectly, it's really intended for wall or ceiling mount, which would allow for a greater angle on the camera without tipping over. So out of all the surveillance cameras I have this is now the number one option for me. The app is really easy to download and yes, you gotta create an account through the app for it to work (or at least I had to).Setup itself was easy as well, the equipment it came with was very simple/useful and I enjoyed playing with the remote viewing options, specifically controlling where the camera pointed from far away.Considering it is so useful, I'm really happy to have this and it is by far my best yet, so highly recommended for literally anyone. Totally love it. Quality, look, especially the solar panel, all very awesome.

I wish the camera have a little bit more of resolution, maybe with more control of fps. Also the Q5 and W9 cameras do not have gamma control on night vision. It is perfect until 20 feet, but to 30 feet is more difficult to see license plates and face detail. Also the model W9 do not have automatic motion sensor to move the camera if instrusion is in the back of sides, so to point and record it. But I point 4 of 5 stars, because is so affordable and it make respect in the community. I recommend strongly if you need to see you inner patio up to 20 fett. Thanks, Wansview!

Easy setup. App is simple to use after a little practice. I used the pdf manual but the app walks you through adding a camera and it was seamless. The camera actually can be used as surveillance as it is capturing all the time with sound. It just does not record until motion or you manually start recording. I did not see a light while charging so after 2 hours plugged into the wall I downloaded the app and setup the camera and it said 100%. I used my own wall charger. Switch to full screen, touch the screen, and it is here you can switch from SD to HD.I used the wood screws to mount the cameras outside. You can zoom in using your two fingers on the screen and the high definition is very good. The sound is handy as you can communicate with anyone next to the camera.Unless one or both stop functioning I am happy with the cameras. After one full day of use one of the cameras shows 98% battery but it is in a location with not a lot of traffic although it has had some. I would recommend the camera.

Caméra de surveillance autonome qui fonctionne à l'aide de 8 piles AA LR6 non fournies.Une fois les piles et la carte SD insérées, il faut ce rendre dans le menu pour effectuer certains réglages.On commence par mettre la langue en Français, et la date/heure.S'en suit les réglages de qualité d'enregistrement photo et vidéo ainsi que le mode de déclanchement, photo, vidéo ou les 2.Je l'ai commandé pour une surveillance de mon terrain qui ce fait visiblement visiter en mon absence, j'ai choisi les 2 modes, pour voir le maximum de chose.Je l'ai accroché à un arbre, qui permet un champ de vision large.Il est hors de portée de mon WiFi, je ne pourrais donc pas le suivre depuis mon téléphone, seul l'enregistrement fonctionnera.J'ai pu constater un grand nombre de passage de différents animaux de compagnie, chats essentiellement.En place depuis 15 jours, pas d'intrusion d'indésirable humain pour le moment mais la caméra veille aux grains.La qualité des enregistrements est de bonne qualité, parfaitement visionnable oet utilisable, à savoir que j'ai tout réglé au maximum, 32mp pour la photo et HD1296P pour la vidéo.L'enregistrement des activités de nuit est correct, également utilisable.Il est possible de verrouiller l'ouverture de la caméra à l'aide d'un petit cadenas mais rien empêchera d'enlever la sangle et de partir avec.J'en suis satisfait, elle convient très bien à mon utilisation de surveillance de mon terrain, et c'est tout ce que je lui demande.Je la recommande, du moins pour une utilisation comme la mienne.
