I like that it is rechargeable, and although you can buy a subscription service for the camera, it isn't necessary if you just use an SD card. The camera is also pretty small, so not an eye sore on our house. The video streams very well, and syncs to the app fairly easily. One down side is that the app can only display live video from one camera at a time, so you can't view full live surveillance of your home. I am more than happy with the product. When I am using this at work (security and surveillance) I am able to read license plates 60 to 70 yards away and able to identify people of interest. Its small size makes it convenient when I am on patrol as a Security Officer and less noticeable while I am conducting surveillance. Its round shape makes it a comfortable fit for my pockets (to include the case it came with). I’ve searched for a while to find a product that is as lightweight as this product and with a good quality build as well. The price seemed a little high at the time of purchase but now that I have it in my hands I can say that the price is reasonable (you get what you pay for). I would definitely consider this for a gift (Christmas maybe). I’ve recommended this product to all of my coworkers and a few of them made purchases already.

 I absolutely love the night vision on these cameras. Its so incredibly clear. And the motion alert is spot on. My favorite feature it the audible alarm you can set up. Definitely bought us sometime when we had to use it. And the white-light flashlight feature is wonderful. Our chickens were plowing through food. We set up these camera just to watch the chickens and make sure every one went inside at night before the door shut. So that while on vacation we have peace of mind. What we found was a family of 6 coons, pigging out everynight. With the cost of feed right now thats a huge problem. We removed the feed and they broke into the coop! If it wasnt for the motion alerting we wouldn't have known. We could have lost our entire flock of 40! But didnt lose not one thanks to these cameras. Besides your own home surveillance and security. You need surveillance on your livestock. Not just for their safety and (legal) liability but also for problems you might not even know you have. I highly reccommed these. The picture of clear enough that you could identify a person even at might if you needed to. Keep yourself and your babies safe everyone.

This camera is a great addition to our current surveillance system. We have had great luck with that system, and caught a burglar trying to break into back door within weeks.I found the installation to be quite straightforward, and didn't require a specialist. Easy to set up, scan QR code and enter 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi info. Make sure your phone is also connected to same 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi.After testing and playing with that system, and finding out that it is so easy to set up, it is plug-and-play. Since I wanted to be able to talk to someone if necessary. I just played with this camera, and wow it is beyond good. I can talk to and listen to anyone, from their free app. This camera can also be controlled and rotated automatically through the app. And the floodlight is so bright it can light up the whole place.The 2 way radio control is very clear and picture is colorful and clear. Will buy more! I feel safe with this camera on my home, great motion detected.

 It was well below zero in MT the last few days and all my cameras still captured moments like this. I set them up probably 7 months ago and haven't replaced any batteries. 5 of them all still work as they did during summer with several clips recorded per day. Great cameras, in my experience, for casual surveillance.

The system is super easy to set up, the picture quality is good (can become pixelated during movement) , the motion detection is terrific and so sends notifications to my phone quite often lol. I like that you can set the sensitivity and notification settings to low and even designate activity 'zones' within the camera's viewing area to send you alerts when there's activity in these specific spots. The intercom works fine. I like that the cameras are lightweight, I mounted one using a command strip and it has stayed in place for 24 hours. I also like that you can take the round black camera out of the white stand for versatility. So far it's working better than the more expensive surveillance system we bought that needed a whole other 'NVR' box and harddrive.

Once installed, the camera works very well. It did require contacting tech support to install it if using a web interface rather than a smartphone. The instructions didn't cover the very simple steps involved, but tech support was able to provide the level of help I needed. The technicians were easy to understand and there was almost no wait time. In order to access you computer they have you install a very small program on it. That program doesn't actually install on your computer and can be simply deleted when support is finished with your case.One star is removed for the near universal requirement of installing ActiveX on IE in order to see and control your camera. This unsafe practice can be avoided entirely if you use the SynologyNAS Surveillance Station, which works well with the IP4M-1051B.

This camera is MUCH SMALLER than 601-D20X and provides somewhat equivalent functionality from my perspective. I highly recommend it to all contractors who are considering getting a commercial-level mini PTZ.
