Using for Speech Therapy Teletherapy
We are using this microphone for Speech Therapy via the computer. We purchased a new HP Pavilion, nothing too fancy, but an upgrade for my toddler to do speech therapy over the computer. The speech therapist has said that she hears him 100% better than just using the regular on computer microphone. The cord is long enough that we can move it around as he shifts in his seat, it is connected to the computer so for us we generally have him just sitting and doing something at the desk, like playdoh or matchbox cars, or a game. You are able to mute it, although we haven't used that function. The most important thing for us was that the SLT was able to hear him enough to pick out the slightest sounds, and it appears so far after a month of use that this particular microphone fit the bill, and at a fairly decent price, I paid around $16.

Worth the money
I have heard better sounding equipment but for the money... you cannot beat it. Worth the price paid.

Worth the low cost.
This is a good buy for the money. Some parts are cheaply made but over was what I expected for how little I paid.

UPDATED, sound card quick and easy substitute
Audio was decent quality, no better than a decent motherboards integrated sound board however. Also, microphone line was HORRIBLE. Not usable at all with microphone.UPDATE: The seller was happy to send a new card to me for no extra charge or return, they claimed to have tested the product to check for quality before the new one was sent out (maybe something they should do no matter what). The new one worked fine, little better quality than internal sound card but nothing special. This would work best for someone who's audio solution is old/broken/or just bad. Its quick, easy, and a cheap solution. Still giving 3/5 stars for the problem stated above. Although product is worth the $10 i paid.
