In the past two years I've purchased 6 cameras from Yi. Two PTZ and 4 HD. These HD are a better value and more durable than the PTZ. Super easy to set up. Because of their Chinese origin I do not recommend for business / public surveillance use but for home use they are great.These are the best Chinese cameras that I've used. Better than a big brand that starts with an 'S' who obsoleted my last cameras in less than two years by breaking them with security updates and refusing to resolve the issues they created.

Purchased my Amcrest UltraHD 4K (8MP) Outdoor Security IP Turret PoE Camera (IP8M-T2499EW) and it was delivered the next day. Package included the camera, quick guide, camera mounting hardware, and mounting template. It also came with 1 free month of Amcrest Cloud offer. Just keep in mind that it PoE camera and will require a PoE switch or a PoE injector. The camera also supports an optional power adapter.I installed the cameras in my backyard to monitor the new pool that is being built at the moment and also to records the a time-lapse video of the actual build process. I’m using the Sinology Surveillance station to record and store videos. I’m also using Synology’s Smart Time Lapse functionality. The installation and setup were super easy as Synology had direct support for this model. The camera also supports ONVIF.You have the option of installing the camera on the wall or on the ceiling, it depends on the area of coverage that you are interested in covering. I installed mine on the ceiling of the poly roof.I’m very impressed with Amcrest UltraHD 4K camera, it has an amazing picture quality during the daytime and night time. The built quality is all-metal and feels very solid. I have other Amcrest cameras and this one is simply amazing at this price point.Even though Synology has its own motion detection I end up using Amcrest’s motion detection because in my testing I believe it has a more granular control.The cameras built-in microphone and you can hear when someone is on your property, dogs barking, frogs, or other noises.Amcrest has an easy web interface that allows you to control all aspects of the camera. You can view, record, and playback footages directly from your smartphone with the Amcrest View Pro or Amcrest Cloud app.This camera replaced Arlo Pro that I had for 2 years but got tired of re-charging the batteries. The video quality difference is also so much better.I highly recommend Amcrest UltraHD 4K camera for anyone that is looking for a high-quality and durable camera at a low price.

This is my short review for arlo netgear. It is only effective only if you set it up right. You will probably need more then one camera for outdoor use. The sensor are perfect. The only thing that was the big gripe about a such expensive setup was the reaction to the sensor. Meaning it would sense motion but when you would review the video the person or car would already be 90% across the screen. Only seeing partially a person leg before exiting the field of view. Or a cars bumper before passing by.Here is the good part.You will need to setup cameras as a webbed system. Meaning if one camera senses motion you can program the other cameras to record... so now you will have to position cameras to where a sensor goes off to catch them coming into the next camera.As it senses a object moving you are trying to catch the object moving going into the field of view of other camera. The program will set to record before object advances to move into screen. With this setup i feel now it is worthy of an outdoor surveillance system. Basically you are trying to predict a movement that triggers camera that will then move into the next cameras location. And vice versa from other direction.Before this, this system was useless especially for outdoor setup. But now it has picked everything i need to see clearly whos coming in or out my house with this setup. Hope this helps your decision on this product. This product is only a 5star only if you set it up right.

I bought this in preparation for a covert/mobile surveillance class offered by my Agency. Let me tell you, this monocular really surprised me; really manageable size, completely rubberized and easily adjustable. It's waterproof, not too heavy and not too light. It comes with its own carrying case, lens cleaner and mini-tripod. The light gathering and clarity are astounding, as well as the ease of focus. The price was a huge plus, since it's rare to find a piece of optics with so many good reviews at this price.

I am happier with this outdoor Blink than I thought I would be. Amazon discontinued Cloud Cam which I had and loved. I decided to try this system. It is extremely easy to set up, even for a person like me who is not tech savvy. The night vision is good on the medium IR setting. Since these are battery run, you want to be careful with your settings to save battery power. I set the sensitivity to the middle of the bar (5) and that is just perfect. I have two cameras outside. One overlooks our driveway and the street. That sensitivity setting means it does not record/alert on every passing car. It only records people in your driveway or things like the trash truck stopping at the curb. I set the recording time to 30 seconds rather than 60 to save battery. Any time you want to view what the camera sees, you just hit the video button and it will bring up live view. One important thing. The bracket that comes with the camera is not very good and you cannot easily adjust or rotate your camera. I ordered a box of 3 tiltable brackets. They were easy to install, even on our brick exterior, and you can rotate the camera into position. Amazon sells them as "All-New Blink Outdoor Camera Surveillance Mount, 3 Pack Weatherproof Protective Housing and 360 Degree Adjustable Mount with Sync Module 2 Mount for Blink Outdoor cameras".

Excellent image quality day and night. Various setting options for customizable use. Easy to set up, almost a plug and play surveillance system. I wish they had an outdoor version. Can record sounds going on around or near the camera, but I have not been able to get voice sounds out of it, as if to communicate with the person around the camera. I'm not sure if this system has that capability, but it appears as if it does, based on the setting options. I do not use it for monitoring a baby, but it has that specific option, to send an alert if baby cries. If I were shopping for a baby monitoring system, I would definitely get this one because it comes with 4 cameras for the price of the 1 camera systems found in the baby sections at the store. I do monitor my dog when we're away. You have the option to place it anywhere, from any angle. Lens in or out of the holder, too. (White part is a stand, the lens is removable). DO purchase a micro SD for each camera when you purchase this system. It is designed to record 7 days continuously, with highlights on each movement detected, which you can go back to anytime within those 7 days, and download, capture with a snapshot, or record any portion you choose into a file on your device, by touching the still image camera icon, or the video image icon as you are reviewing the files, which you can do even if you're across the state.

Installs like any other POE camera, this thing is heavy and big so make sure its anchored to something solid to prevent sway.The Zoom Priority IR light seems to work pretty well, I was able to zoom in on my dog about 50 to 60 feet away and the clarity was about the same as closer objects.The web UI for PTZ functions is painful very hard to get it pointing to where you want. the mobile app worked better for PTZ functions. Synology Surveillance Station 9 works perfectly with this camera and the PTZ works better than native web app.I would have liked to have seen auto tracking in this one like there is in its brother ip4m-1083-ai which I also own. The patrol works well I use it to quickly scan my dogs hiding places, they like to try and escape, pan limit is useful if you want to auto pan but also respect your neighbors.Smart detection works like it says on the box, once on and preset configured I got no false motion from this camera, I record 24/7 and only really have motion on to try and create event flags in SS9.I was able to mount mine out the box but they have many mounting options open.

Du point de vue technologique, le produit est abouti. On branche la caméra, on allume l'écran et c'est parti. Les éléments sont légers et agréables à prendre en main. Notez que l’écran est autonome en énergie (une fois chargé) mais que la caméra doit toujours être branchée. La connexion entre l’écran et la caméra se fait en 1 seconde, c’est très efficace.L'écran est agréable, assez grand, les couleurs ressortent bien et on peut effectivement zoomer deux fois (la qualité de l'image est clairement impactée) directement sur un bouton sur la tablette. Raccourci utile et pour le coup facilement utilisable. L'image n'est pas d'une qualité exceptionnelle mais pour de la surveillance, c’est tout à fait suffisant. Le son est de bonne qualité en revanche, ce qui est important pour la surveillance de bébé. Il y a un micro derrière la caméra, micro efficace.Le menu est assez simple et intuitif (quoique parfois un peu laborieux à sélectionner et valider je trouve) et il y a pas mal de paramétrages possibles. Ce que j’aime bien, c’est que la plupart des options utiles (son, zoom, faire pivoter la caméra) se trouvent en accès direct sans rentrer dans les menus.Nous sommes donc ici sur une caméra de surveillance en direct donc pas de prise de photos ni de vidéos possible. C'est de la vidéo-surveillance live. Par contre vous pouvez parler à bébé (c'est un son bidirectionnel), et ça, c'est pas mal.Le temps de charge de l'écran est assez long : comptez 2 bonnes heures. Pensez donc à amener vos adaptateurs électriques pour aller chez des amis, pas très pratique. Ou anticipez avant de partir.Le produit répond donc clairement aux besoins dans ce contexte de surveillance de bébé. Pour autant, étant possesseur de caméra de surveillance avec une appli qu'on installe sur son portable, je me pose la question de devoir débourser autant pour finalement profiter des mêmes rendus : vision nocturne, parler et entendre, être alerté en cas de mouvement, bénéficier d'une meilleure qualité d'image.... et pour bien moins cher. J'ouvre la réflexion, à chacun de prendre cela en compte ou pas. A la fois, ce baby phone est à un prix raisonnable donc ce n'est pas incohérent.Ce produit est donc de bonne qualité, pertinent dans sa conception par rapport à son usage (les raccourcis sont tops, très fonctionnels, la caméra peut pivoter horizontalement, option très intéressante, mais je m'attendais à une qualité d'image un peu plus qualitative. Je trouve aussi que de nos jours, un écran devrait proposer le tactile. Ce n’est pas le cas ici, même si cela n’enlève rien aux qualités de ce produit. La conception est pertinente et aboutie, le confort de la taille de l'écran est indéniable.
