I bought two of these thinking that I could get away with not having to pay a monthly subscription however, to see the full benefits of these you do need to actually buy some sort of a subscription. Through doing some research online I did find a loophole as the company does make a video that tells you, even though they say you need to buy a subscription you can go on and get their basic plan and then put in that you don’t want to pay anything as the monthly premium is just a suggestion, however doing this does not give you the full benefits of detection on this camera. So far the detection and notifications have been a little wonky. Sometimes it detects a shadow from the sun even when I have it on low detection and other times somebody walks right past the path of the camera and it doesn’t notice a thing. Also notifications sometimes will come to my phone after somebody walks in my house. (Family members but you can imagine if they weren’t…) ultimately, I may be being a little harsh on these things honestly for the money it’s still pretty impressive what they can do. I can monitor what’s going on outside from my phone from anywhere as well as talk through these and turn a siren on and the night vision is pretty nice that you couldn’t even see anything so there are some definite pluses to it. It’s just a lot to ask out of a surveillance camera, I think at this price point.

This is a little cute camera you can take basically anywhere you go plus it’s a water camera as well so vacation to the beach will be no problem thank you

I bought this trail cam for property surveillance and am really happy with the product. Specifically, I chose it for the price and affordability, the good reviews, the fact that it has an external power jack, and it also has a built-in screen, so the files can be viewed immediately without using the internet, removing the sd card or buying a separate handheld device (which costs almost as much again as the trail cam). The night vision indoors is almost like daytime (although black and white), and outdoors is crystal clear for quite a way. I'm really happy with it. The external power source requirement is 12V 1A output and a 5.5 X 2.1 mm plug -- I've attached the pictures.

After a couple of strange incidents in the neighborhood, and working on a limited budget we picked up a set of these to try for surveillance outside our home. Although they are meant to watch inside your house, we placed them on windowsills and turned them outside and they work really well! We didn’t want another subscription, so we skipped the cloud service and opted for the memory cards. They provide six days worth of memory and the app interface is easy to use.They worked so well we picked up a second set for my mom’s house!These cameras do exactly what we needed and came in at the perfect price point.

i love the remali 4k it worked great this weekend for an event i had. I did some time laps and they came out great.

it looks a great product, i am still in the stage of setting up the Amcrest Surveillance Pro, and i have to say i am having a hard time with the settings, the PDF help file that comes with it is a backdated version it has not been updated to actual software version, and it is very skimpy on explaining the featureswhen calling the Amcrest help line you can get help if you happen to get the right person on the phone, i was lucky once when i got a tech named Calab, he helped me with an issue i called fori am still waiting to see the cameras will function after they are all setup

This is one of the better companies i've noticed as their constant upgrades, product support and customer service rivals or even beats top tier companies like Nest, GoPro, Ring, etc. Far better than Lorex which i've previously owned. Zumimall constantly updates and upgrades and I always worried about getting surveillance with legacy software but they constantly update their app more than Apple would do software updates. Which is a good thing.Can't recommend this camera and support this kind of company, help them with your feedback and watch them actually implement certain features. I've bought probably over 10 units from them of different models over 5 years and have given them out as gifts to friends and family because this company creates products ahead of the market at an affordable price. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, support companies like this! Where the engineering team actually cares about building better products that consumers want, they are the leaders in this market. Thanks ZumiMall
