Purchased to aid in solar eclipse photos
I received this filter in good order and in good time. Quality seems good. This was my first experience with a neutral density filter which I used during the solar eclipse on August 21, 2017. I primarily used it as extra protection as I also used an inexpensive solar filter. I look forward to experimenting with it as it provides a variation of light. To do anything with direct sun light takes a stronger ND filter than this one. It did work well during totality (2 min. 36 sec) although we had clouds so the variable filter without the solar filter allowed me to experiment a bit. However, I tried to give limited time to this so as to experience the grander effects of totality.

Great filter!
This was a great filter for the price. Comes with nice cleaning cloth and filter pouch. Unfortunately, I had to return it because I did not like the new lens I purchased the filter to use with.

Great Filter
Awesome lens filter!! Put this over my new Nikon Nikkor 200-500mm lens and it’s perfect! Very happy I can protect my new lens for a fraction of the cost!

great quality, not much color cast.(Also, thanks to the filter, my camera and lens survived 2 otherwise catastrophic drops. And the filter is not even scratched, really impressive)

CPF IS LOVE
This filter is good for beginners. Picture quality isn't same as the lens without filter, but it really works in scorching sunshine. You can adjust warmth in this filter. Overall its awesome.

Good filter -- lens maybe a bit thin.
The inner ring that attached to the lens is a bit thin but it probably needs to be not to intrude on the wide angle lens. Otherwise a good filter and works well.
