Great Binos
The binoculars perform beyond my expectations. The optics are crisp and bright. I have been using them with a monopod to view birds at a local lake and they are perfect. A heavy tripod is needed for the night sky and they work well there as well. They are well made and easy to use. I would highly recommend them.

10x light
What are 'the best' optics? The ones you have WITH you, when you want magnification. At 9 oz, these Vortex monoculars weigh less than half what binoculars weigh. It clips on your belt - to be there when desired/needed. The optical quality is VERY good - more than good enough during daylight hours; only the most expensive optics show any perceptible difference in twi-light. It is well-built - sturdy and tough looking.

Bought By Mistake and Happy I Did.
This product was listed in the Night Vision section of Amazon.. I ordered thinking they were night vision... Started to send them back but found that the optics on the scope was great. Could not beleave the low price for good optics.. Yes I now have the scope in my truck glove box and trashed a the old binoculars.

The optics are as I expected. It is going to take a bit of practice to learn how to properly hold it. It is much different than binoculars.

This set of binoculars were recommended to me for star-gazing, and I was not mis-guided!The build is solid, but not heavy. The finger grips are comfortably placed, thus easy to hold for extended viewing.Clean, crisp optics provide wonderful bird-watching as well.Would definitely recommend, high quality at an affordable price.

Nice optics. Sharp and clear
Nice optics. Sharp and clear. It is a 10X36 but it feels like my 8X40 binoculars has more magnification but I am sure it is because I am looking through 2 eyes and the larger objective lens. But it is compact and fits nicely in your hand. It is a bit awkward with the attached belt clip, but that is easy to remove.

Great for Alaska trip
So far so good. Just took it onto the roof in Philadelphia looked to the southwest and saw Jupiter and training the binoculars on it i saw the planet very clearly and several of its moons. Terrestrial viewing was also rewarding with clear sharp viewing. The optics are not quite up to my TeleView 85 but what is.

An exceptionally fine product
This product is exceptionally superior to any other optics I have ever owned. I cannot even think of going back to cumbersome binoculars.The monocular is lightweight, clear viewing and easy to handle. I love it.
